Quest 1: Save, save, save! I will create a budget and STICK TO IT! No needless spending. The aim is to live off of my new income as much as possible without delving into my savings.


 


Quest 2: Nutritional overhaul! Back to the beginning! I will follow a strict macro diet. 


 


Quest 3: Exercise at least 3 days out of the week. I need to build up strength again.


This accounts for any sort of focused exercise; squats, leg lifts, the BBW workout, or sessions at the gym (among others).


 


 


Side quest: MAKE THINGS! There are three DEFINITE projects that I need to do and make... so budgeting will be involved for this. One, I'm going to be a bridesmaid at one of my best friends' wedding. I'm making my dress! Two, NYCC is coming. I'm still planning on a Shulkie cosplay. Time to get moving even more on that; I have a wig that I need to dye and contacts so far. I also intend to cosplay as Roxie from JEM & The Holograms. Gotta get on that. I mainly need the wig (Everything else will likely be adjusted clothing from the thrift store).

Nutrition:


I eat an entirely gluten free diet (I have a gluten intolerance), no lactose, and low soy. I also have a nasty allergy to fish (not shellfish, however) so that affects my diet as well. Basically, lots of chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, veggies, fruit, and rice. 


Calories: 1550


 


Free days: I'm going to allow myself a total of 3 free days (since things do happen) wherein I will count my calories and my intake (because it's good to know) but I will not hold them against me grade-wise. 


 


Macro/micro goal breakdown:


Protein: 100g - 120g


Carbs: 100g - 120g


Fat: 50g - 70g


Sugar: Up to 45g of sugar (under 25g for non-fructose derived)

I already have a mint account... so that helps. I really need to adjust the budget in there though. I didn't buy anything unnecessary today. I ordered my groceries via instacart (proteins mostly) so that was a bit pricy but I got most of it from Costco to freeze and thaw for later. Tomorrow for lunch I'm thinking chicken, rice, and pesto.

Food-wise I was fine. Although I'm craving chocolate like crazy right now. I ordered some chocolate covered almonds actually for a work snack (low, low sugar). I had chicken, hummus with blue chips, bacon, eggs, brown rice, veggies, shrimp, and a bit of pasta today.

Today I paid all of our utilities for the apartment. My roommates will give me their share later in the week but I don't like for things to be late. Didn't buy anything unnecessary. This coming weekend I will be helping my friend look for her wedding dress. We're going to be eating out for lunch but she's doing keto so I should at least be good diet-wise.

So.... office snacks were in today.... zero self-control. Zilch. None. The hummus and carrots... even the blue corn chips were fine. However, we got chocolate covered raisins and they sent a package of gluten free chocolate cookies for free with our order. I'm not feeling 100% after all that. I really, really need to be more aware. Had I stuck to what I had planned to eat I'd have been fine.

My unlimited metro card wasn't working at ONE STATION. ONE. Everywhere else no problem. So I had to throw a dollar onto one of my backup cards. That's it though. I nearly went to the grocery store to buy some sort of snacky snack but I stopped myself. I have a ton of food in the fridge. There is absolutely no need for me to buy more (except veggies. But I'll hit the market on Sunday for those).

Had only a few of those chocolate covered raisins. BUT I had an italian ice that night (just one). It's getting HOT here Brooklyn. I'm going to have to buy an A.C. asap. Breakfast was beef jerky, lunch was 6oz of chicken and a cup of broccoli, 3 eggs scrambled with a serving of GF baguette and three slices of bacon for dinner. Snacks: chips and hummus, those damned chocolate raisins (gone now, thankfully), and that orange ice.

Yeah for avoiding the pull of the snacky snack stop!  Boo for the hot weather.  Anywhere you can workout inside?  

 

I know, I was so proud! Granted, I still had that italian ice at home... but I had already purchased that. So, woot! 

Typically I'd just use my own stuff and just do some body-based workouts. I do have a gym membership, but it's a mile away from my apartment. I usually run it and then just hit the weights. But... a mile away. I'm going to just go for it next time. If it's early enough I'll walk (the ellipticals are ALWAYS in use).

Took me an age and a half to get my photoshop running (somethings up with one of my graphics drivers, ugh).

BUT.

I RE-MADE THE A-FORCE INTRO PAGE... typefaces are a wee bit off but I'm not complaining. Unless you look at them side-by-side it looks right. I also decided to go with green space. Cause... She-Hulk...duh.

 

 

I'm going to post Friday's thang tomorrow because I am EXHAUSTED. I just scrubbed half of the apartment and cooked up a bunch of chicken and bacon for the coming days.

Just got back from hospital. Apparently I have acute tonsillitis. I went to the walk-in cause I was afraid I had the flu. Fever of 105 F. Passed out at the clinic, they made me go to the emergency room... big run-around. Needless to say, I can't swallow. Food, water... ugh. They gave me a steroid shot at least so I'm starting to be able to drink water now.... relief... I was so damned thirsty. 

Anyway. Going to have to take it easy this week, but... meh.

I bought a number of soft foods and prescriptions at Walgreens (raspberry sorbet, chicken stock, gatorade, thermometer, prescription meds, advil, and advil cold&sinus). Also went to home depot to buy an A/C (I was planning on  getting one today anyway).


Walgreens: $69.86


Taxis (2 Uber, 2 yellow cab): $108.92


Home Depot: $347.31


 


GRADE: B... but it was all mostly necessary (I had to cab back to Bk anyway so getting the A/C while I was out made sense).
