stretched

read fiction

wrote some

1h studying

Not a terribly productive day.

-----------

Week 3 Report: still Yellow, it was better but not quite where I want to be yet.

Balance:

-60s crow pose (P)

I did a little practice on Wednesday and Thursday of week 3, better but not by much

-Read some each day, balance non-fiction with fiction (M)

19/21 days, missed two in this one week

-8 walks over the course of the challenge (E)

Counting outside days I have 4 checked off.

Clarity:

-Stretch every morning (P)

21/21 days

-Write or Draw daily to get the idea out instead of cluttering my head (M)

18/21 days, better but only two miss days let in the last three weeks of the challenge and I haven't been completing pages/chapters/arts

-Complete 3 started projects around the house (E)

Finished one, but probably not half-way through the second.

Direction:

-10 standard push-ups in a single set (P)

I seem to have a consistent 5 in a set max right now.

-average 2 hours/day learning (M)

Week 1 was -4, Week 2 was -7.5, Week 3 was +0.25 (but I had two 0 days and two 1h days.)

Total: -11

Better, but more improvement needed.

-Apply for the Peace Corps (E)

no progress

Wow, I like your color coding! Nice work. :)

Thank you! Feel free to steal it if you want. I saw how the Assassins all had text grids for checking off days that was started in a single thread. :P Probably not that novel of an idea though. I read an article, it was funny, about a person that writes erotica on Amazon's self-publishing kindle books program; when I saw the numbers it became tempting but I don't think that is my type of writing.

Yep, you can sell lots of copies of erotica. Lots of writers started that way, including Stephen King. But you have to like it to write it. If it's not your cup of tea, I'd give it a miss. :)

Stephen King? That is a bit frightening.

The sheer levels of how many people are buying in the genre is shocking to me. I suppose, though, that if it is just described as porn for women that it simply matches the market we see for that in men.

Monday week 5

-stretched

-actual work on Crow: watched a video and held for 7 seconds, then 8, a couple more tries without a timer, then a 5s.

-studied 2.5h (researchy stuff that included Balkan Wars and analysis of writing style when lying in written communications, now I have a plan to make a wars timeline (could not find one I liked for the whole of the 1900s online) and maybe making posters of maps (old and current) in the Balkan area using an atlas and a printer)

-read those articles

-wrote

Lots more green on last week's wrap up and you've made progress on the Crow and your Peace Corps app this week! Great work!

Glad you are giving yourself that extra week to wrap everything up. You made a lot of progress this challenge and while I admire you being strict with yourself, 90% is a high bar for a "pass," especially when you are working on that many different things. Go get the last week of your seven week challenge!

Tuesday

crow, 1h study, read, write

Wednesday

I don't think I can do this. My head started screaming at me which takes getting the study hours just about out of possibility and means no crow either.

3h outside

I'm going to try and slog through a write/draw something and maybe a bit of reading just to not go to bed too early.
