It's a bit disorienting, to be sure, but he reckons that since the orcs haven't gotten him yet, there's still a way to make this hunt successful. Hey there. I guess I've already started with the silent part by having curtailed my posting during the last challenge. In a way, this is more tongue-in-cheek than anything else as a way to prod me to be more interactive on the boards here. I'm not going to hear from people if I'm not giving people things to read. Isn't that how this works? I don't know, but I guess we'll see. Last time around, I did ok, but not great. I started off with:Level 4 Lycan Adventurer | Male, Age: 40 | STR 6 DEX 5 STA 6 CON 6 WIS 14 CHA 8 With these challenges and results:Task 1: Eat Right - Track my eating and hit the 270 day streak. -- Hit this one. CON +2, CHA +1Task 2: Work Out - 5 days a week -- Managed this most of the time, but only got 4 workouts done during the last week. STR +2, STA +1Task 3: Research - Find out more about what causes LDL -- Didn't do this at all - Wis +0Life Quest: Clean Up My Act - Shave 21 times -- Got in 17 shaves. More than I thought I would, honestly. CHA + 1 I ended up here:Level 5 Lycan Adventurer | Male, Age: 41 | STR 8 DEX 5 STA 6 CON 8 WIS 14 CHA 10 This time around, here's what I'm gunning for:Overall Goal: Do All the Things - I want to fit into those size 36 jeans. I want to thrive. I want to throw my head back and howl in the rains. I want to live and actually feel alive. Task 1: Train for the Hunt - Working out is something I need to maintain. I cut back a lot on working out over the past couple of weeks and I've actually missed it. I want to continue with the training that I did in the previous challenge and push myself harder to reach something beyond the beginner levels for a change. Task 2: Make the Blood Flow - Part way through this challenge, I will be visiting the doctor for a blood test. This will be looking at my cholesterol levels. It's not a surprise to anyone that's been reading my previous challenges, but this is the time when it actually happens. My doctor is supposed to have a standing order for me to come for the test in a few weeks. This one is about doing the right eating to make sure I'm not contributing to my own mess. Task 3: Get Into the Tree - Short and sweet. I want to be able to do a pull-up. Once that is complete, I want to build up to 5 pull-ups. But I've got to start somewhere so let's start at 1. During the break between challenges, my wife and I bought a chin up bar. I've actually been able to do chin ups! Haven't been able to do a pull-up yet, but that's what this one is all about. Life Quest: Clean Up My Act - Last time around, it was about shaving. I did a lot more shaving during that challenge than I had in previous weeks/months. This time around, it's about cleaning the office and getting it ready for a major overhaul. I need to clean it up so that I can redecorate/redesign it. This will take lots of work since the office is basically a dumping ground at this point. There's lots of things I'll need to sort through and honestly enough, I'm not sure I'll be able to finish this one during a single challenge. I'll need to come back to this thread and clean up some of these tasks to make them more organized, more concrete. I can't do that right this second. I have to get some work done first.
