okay so i'll be adding some of my workouts here. i'm basically working out bodybuilding style with decent amount of aim in functionality of this carcass. i have tendency to be somewhat maniacal in my goal setting but i suppose writing them down into my challenge section would help with keeping myself in control...

if it looks that i'm losing it, someone say it straight because no matter what the goal is i'm probably gonna get to it no matter the cost.

yesterday's leg workout:

no squats because there was four guys WAITING to get to the squatting place.

leg press

20x100kg, 20x140kg, 17x180kg 15x220 kg

leg press which goes to the back of the legs (i don't know the english term)

20x60kg,20x100kg, 20x120kg, 20x150kg, 20x120kg

leg extensions

20x45kg,50kg,55kg,60kg,65kg

leg curls

20x45kg,50kg,55kg,60kg,65kg

standing calves

3x41kg

sitting calves

3x50kg

 

abs

3 minute plank

3x10 dragon flags

3x10 toes to the bar

then 3x15 basic ab crunches

 

overall time for this whole workout was around 90 minutes. i keep rests between sets around 20 seconds. now as i have a training partner with me i rest for his set and then return to doing immediately when he is ready. movement is calm and idea is to make the muscle grow and same time become more functional. without the squat whole session felt like it lacked the "pass out" effect and i had still some gas in the tank when the workout was over. my plan for tuesday is to DO NOTHING!

4x80kg pain stopped me.

shoulder workout went so fucked up because of rush that i don't even bother writing it up.

 

idea of returning to the work isn't exactly burning in me. don't know why. i should be working so that i could get some money saved but blah. i ate ice cream. just one magnum. it did fit into calories but it still feels frustrating.

far from a strong. compared to the trainers surrounding me, i'm miniscule weakling :D and never satisfied.

i'm a huge vegeta fan. not only because we are similar in height and attitude. and i considered this as a great place to make my fusion :D

i just couldn't find a pic with a vegeta or vegito i could fit into that profile pic box and i happened to have one nice sized broly pic in my phone :D

Hey, you're stronger than I am. With you on the never being satisfied though. I could bench press a billion pounds and still think it's not enough.

Personally my favorite Z fighter is Tien. He's around my height and we have a similar attitude. Also his hobbies are trying and volleyball so you know he's cool.

today's workout felt bit like dead work. i got everything done but didn't get myself to the point of exhaustion. since i ended up in too many conversations in between the session became very long. 2 hours.

i had lack of motivation today. maybe tomorrow is better!

Shoulders and arms today

5x15 lateral raises with 5,6,7,9,9 in kg

5x15 in lateral raises to front as a pyramid. No clue of weights as i did it with cable machine

Same amount with same weight to back of the shoulder. I'll hunt the name of the move later

Seated military press in a machine

15x25

Weights lie a bit because the machine creates some kind of drag. It was a murder and i nearly fainted in the end

Biceps

10x15 weights were in cable machine so no clue again

Hammer curls 5x15

it was birthday lifting session so we went with shortened rests.

deadlift

8x140 (8x150 next week!)

we did pull ups with three different grips. idea was to do 3 reps, then other guy does three, then you change grip and do three etc. etc. until either of us could get a single one successful rep

 

one handed rows with cable

no clue of the weights but 5x12

wide grip pull ups with cable(no clue of real name)

15x75kg

3x 12x80kg

10x85kg

for abs:

4 minute plank

4x12 dragon flags

4x12 toes to the bar

4x12 ab crunches in a machine with 30 kg weight

 

i think i'll innovate something new for my workouts this weekend. i need to change specialisation.

sorry for ten day silence here. i've posted all into my challenge, and haven't bothered posting it here. i've lost three kilograms in three weeks but gotten weights moving bit better than before, which is strange. i've seen that one of my "padawans" seems to avoid sessions where we have abs, legs or back training because we really do those to the limit.

so i will change my specialisation from the version that has worked two months into different.

i'll focus first back workout into back thickness. which means moves like barrel lifts and deadlifts and many rows. then second workout will be focusing on widht. rest will be bit like before

I hate the word mirin but thanks! :-D

Today we did only arms because tomorrow will hit the shoulders.

So concentrated curls with 10kg

5x12 for both arms. No rest, just switching when other arm is done.

Bicep curls in a cable:5x12 with good weight

Bicep curls with reverse grip 4x12 with 20kg and 1x15 with 15kg

Then hammer curls and tricep pulls on cable 5x12 both and no rests in between.

DDips

1x12

1x12 with 10kg

1x12 with 20 kg

One all in dropset starting from 30kg

French press With too much weight(aargh my arms are in pain....)

I've had a rough week at work and i have had too little freetime. I'm not enjoying.

Shoulders front back and lateral with a circuit method 5x about 12 each

Lateral raises 5x12 with 4,5,6,7,9kg

One of training mates fainted.

Back problems. I managed to get my sciatica stuck. It was painful but strong painkillers took care of the pain so that i would not need to slow down. Now it's completely stuck. And being frustrated i fell off my diet plan.... I've been eating like a hog for few days... At least i got minecraft

been dealing with mad depression lately.

saturday night i couldn't sleep so i went for a walk and saw a guy beating his girlfriend. i went in between trying to de-escalate it peacefull and told the girl to leave and get a cab. girl started walking away and guy attacked me. i suplexed him into ground and pressed my palm against his chest preventing him from getting up and told him to relax. after few tries he managed to get up and tried to run after the girl. i catched him and suplexed him again. this time with bit of power in it and pressed my knee to his chest while controlling his hands and told him to relax.

few guys had just walked around the corner seeing me do back suplex to a guy and thought i was an assaulter. they attacked me from behind and guy i was holding down took a run. i told the guys to keep eyes on the guy they just released. this 200 pound man took a hundred meter sprint and threw the best superman punch i've ever seen straight into his 100 pound girl who dropped like a ragdoll. i thanked the guys for good deed of the day and continued my walk letting the guy keep on beating his unconscious girl. i realised that by intervening i would not win a thing. girl would call me a monster for beating love of his life and guy would sue me. i would not hear "thank you for saving me" and girl would not remember me. by not intervening i would not lose a thing. it's better to let the world burn.
