My ultimate goal is to fit comfortably into UK size 14 trousers. To do that, I need to drop a dress size and I want to do this by losing fat. I feel like I've got a good grip on workouts and food / diet so this challenge is about getting through a stressful time at work by looking after myself and really making me the best sozzielou I can be.

1. Bikini rebellion!  CON+1 WIS+2 CHA+2

The #bikinirebellion is a free course by Neghar Fonooni which works on both mind and body. I'll be immersing myself in it and completing the instagram challenges.

A = Completed all the days

B = Missed a couple of days

C = Did the majority of days

F = Didn't really keep up with it.

2. Canada!  WIS+2 CHA+3

I'm going to be visiting my BFF in Canada this August, so lots of things need planning!

A = All planned and paid for

B = Mostly sorted, forgot something small

C = OK but forgot something fundamental

F = Never made it to Canada

3. ACV!  CON+2 CHA+2 STA+1

I've heard many great things about apple cider vinegar, so, having weighed up the pros and cons, I've decided to try it out. My goal is to have 10ml diluted in a glass of water twice per day. I'm treating this like a 30-day hard hat challenge for the whole of the 6 weeks.

Pass = Never miss 2 days in a row

Fail = Miss 2 or more days in a row.

Progress update - end of week 1

1. Bikini rebellion

Been away for the weekend so I need to catch up on a couple of days but nothing has been missed. I love how these little instagram challenges really make me think and reflect and be positive. Neghar Fonooni is a genius!

2. Canada

Flights are booked and I have ordered a few things I need off the internet. I have made a planning list on a spreadsheet and so am able to jot down things as and when I think of them which is useful. I'm really feeling excited about this trip!

3. ACV

Seven out of seven days complete, no problem. Yes it's like drinking vinegar but hey-ho, I am less bloated and am feeling pretty good.

Overall a good start :panda:

Progress update - end of week 2

1. Bikini rebellion

Really enjoying the instagram challenge aspect of this, so glad I signed up for it. Jill Coleman did a couple of posts this week and I like her style; definitely suits me. Have done all the days this week.

2. Canada

Trains are booked to and from the airport. This meant renewing our railcard which thankfully came through really quickly. The bits I ordered last week off the internet have arrived so am making a checklist of bits I need to pack and what I have got already.

3. ACV

Seven out of seven days complete, no problem. Feeling good but also slightly concerned what it is doing to my tooth enamel! Think I might start drinking with a straw ...

Overall feeling good  :positive:

Progress update - end of week 3

1. Bikini rebellion

It has been an awesome challenge. I even put on my bikini and posted a public photo of myself to instagram! Completed this, no problems.

2. Canada

Five weeks to go and I have got all the trains up and down to London booked now. My list is growing but plenty of things are checked off. Making great progress, really looking forward to the trip.

3. ACV

Completed all seven days. It's amazing how drinking something acidic helps me and I don't really understand how it works. But yay, feeling good!

Overall feeling good at half-way through the challenge. I have a clear idea of the actions I need to take for the rest of the challenge and am really enjoying getting there :orange:

Well done on completing the Instagram challenge. Just had a peak at your Instagram page and I love the pose you chose for your bikini pic! You look fab too.

Half way there, good luck with the next 3 weeks!  :panda:

Progress update - end of week 4

1. Bikini rebellion

Whilst the actual Instagram challenge has finished, I have been contributing to the challenge by practicing the ideas set out over the challenge, eg. related to mindset, looking after my body etc. I am doing good things but there is still progress to be made!

2. Canada

Got my travel insurance and booked airport hotels.

3. ACV

Seven days out of seven complete. When I was away from home, I remembered to take my ACV in a little plastic cup (the kind you would carry maybe salad dressing in, or something similar.)

It's quite simple but still a challenge for me. Really looking forward to my Vancouver trip, proper planning and actioning are making it smooth sailing rather than a last-minute panic. Still enjoying the ride :pirate:

Progress update - end of week 5

1. Bikini rebellion

The instagram part of this challenge is over but I have been challenging myself physically and mentally this week, including going abseiling for the first time in my life. Very fun, and one of the more unusual ways I have spent a Friday lunchtime.

2. Canada

Made some labels and arranged the paperwork in a new purple folder :panda:  Have bought a few gifts for our hosts too.

3. ACV

I was away from home for a few nights this week and, although I took my ACV in the morning, after being out for the whole day on Saturday I got back to my hotel and promptly fell asleep, completely exhausted. So one day missed this week.

Nearly at the end of this challenge and still going strong. Need to continue with the momentum until the end of week six. :positive:  I can do this.

Progress update - end of week 6

1. Bikini rebellion

Complete! I have been wearing vest tops this week ... no sleeves! Wouldn't have done that before the bikini rebellion.

2. Canada

Everything is planned and paid for. Got my dollars and gifts which were the last few bits I had to do. Made beauty and hair appointments for 1st August so I can get myself all prettied up!

3. ACV

I missed Sunday morning;s ACV but other than that the days were complete this week.

End of challenge assessment:

1. Bikini rebellion! CON+1 WIS+2 CHA+2

A = Completed all the days so full points

2. Canada! WIS+2 CHA+3

A = All planned and paid for so full points

3. ACV! CON+2 CHA+2 STA+1

Pass = Never miss 2 days in a row so full points.

Success! I have levelled up and am all ready to go on my summer holidays. Two weeks to go and I will be away! Counting down the days already!
