Deadlifts are sexy, plain and simple. Putting up nice numbers! You and Lachy are goin' in pretty much head to head, yeah?

Gem and I should start a wager pool, we can put our earnings toward the World Domination Aussie NF meet

Lachy, singles only, i canna handle a full 5x5 at anywhere near your weight, ergo somehow, technically you are stronger.

Katscratch, if i had money to wager, it'd be going on Lachy. insider betting and all that.

DL 170 coming soon to a gym near me!

I'm starting to like the bros. There aren't many around my gyms, but they're usually too busy checking out their biceps and fiddling with cables to notice my fumbling.

At first I thought your squat set was all front squats. I was ridiculously impressed. Read it correctly and was only slightly less impressed, then realized you squatted about 3000kg total in your sets. In awe once again. Phew.

haha. i leave technology behind for 5 days... and the place falls to pieces.

@Lachy, i'll have to give you my mobile# or something so you can keep even more track of me...

@Loren, yeah man, i find the thread way easier to track my numbers and peeps week to week.

@AJ... as you can see.. i am not a great puller, i run out of steam and just can't lift the weight by the end of the 5x5.

WORKOUT MONDAY 16 APR

this was the final day of the challenge, therefore the day i tested my upper body lifts.

warmup:

2 mins elliptical

20x cleans @40kg (probably horrible form. i'm not squatting down at all to get the weight to shoulder height, just using a kind of hip pull thingo)

OHP:

60kg: 5, 5, 5, 3, 4

ROW:

70kg: 5, 5, 5, 5, 3

BENCH:

82.5kg: 5, 5, 3, 1, 0

ba bow........ didn't quite make the cut.

light on today, my left tricep still feels pangs from monday.

All sets of 5.

60kg, 70kg, 80kg, 80kg, 80kg.

mobility and a half for my wrists and shoulders.. far out.

Good mornings 3x10 just with the bar... get my lower back better for the deadliftage to come.

Deadlifts

6x80kg, 5x 100kg, 4x 110kg, 3x 120kg, 2x 140kg

lots of cooldown and stretch today. felt goood.

Friday 20 April- was going to be a light day just to burn off some steam.

had to wait for some curl bros to stop curling in the squat rack so... front squattage pulling it off the ground.

5x5x80kg

BACK SQUAT

5x100kg

5x100kg

5x100kg

No lifting over the weekend. and just FYIng, no lifting today. i must have menopause or something, hot flushes, constantly dizzy, unable to focus on screen.

bloody beautiful man... i'd eaten like a king all weekend to get my 1RMs out today too...

I lied about not working out over the weekend.

i took my wife through a SS workout on saturday, introduced her to some of the movements with a light bar, Benhc, OHP, Squat.

did some overhand curls: 5x10x30kg.
