nightlight Posted July 22, 2015 Report Share Posted July 22, 2015 I suck so much at challenges, i just moved the last challenge thread here....I'm going to skip the epic intro and just get to what I want to do. I've been sucking at completing and maintaining challenges over the past year. 1) Don't eat like you don't careI'll be loosely following IIFYM. Loosely because the calculators don't really work because the volume and exertion on my workouts vary too much. So I just pretty much did the average. You can follow me and taunt me if i don't eat well:http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/diary/needanightlight 2) Rehab the back and upper body strengthI've only written out a week of my plan, but it lives here:https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1OHEA39N0fbg4wMkuGQHnmTJoLu4WhUy19nRRDmh1GaE/edit#gid=0Note: the days of the week aren't really relevant. I really just want to get in 4 days a week. The day that's there for Wednesday is my coaching day, so much lighter and can be skipped if I get stuck at work. I'm going to shoot for 4 days, but really put my foot down at 3 minimum. 3) Continue practicing I signed up for the next level guitar class. It starts in two weeks. This next level is going to be much harder for me to get through with minimal practice. I want to practice at least 2 hours over a given week. I tend to cram practice over the weekend because I have more time than I do during the week. I think 2 hours would be a good starting point, this is a little over 15 min per day. Yay me!http://www.myfitness...needanightlight 2) Rehab the back and upper body strengthdid not. sleep has been eluding me this week so getting up at 5am is really hard. i set my alarm for 6 and 6:10 so it wakes me up, and if i want to get up i do. but i haven't. i will have to start being strict with myself next week. 3) Continue practicing didn't practice last night, but will tonight. instead had dinner and rented a movie with a friend. Here is my calendar: I've been good on food, except yesterday when I only ate 1000 calories. I was just to busy and then got home from coaching at 10:30 and ate chipotle then, but too little too late.
