Despite going to bed at just after 11 last night, I didn't sleep well so only clocked 6h52m on FitBit, but the lights were out for 7h42 so I'll count that.

Did yoga yesterday at home. About half the primary series but skipped poses which were aggravating my glute. An hour in total. No mobilisations but I'll try some tonight.

Small hike pack? You can get 45 litre ones up to 75 litre ones. Army surplus usually have them or camping stores. Just a thought. Most back packs are for day tripping or school, so maybe a hike one will be sufficient, plus they are made to take weight.

Maybe see if there's an UnderArmor Outlet store? I know we have one near where I live, and the stuff there is a little cheaper.

 

Also, I've been thinking about getting a FitBit or something like it. How do you like yours? 

I'd probably mostly like the sleep stuff, as I have other ways of tracking my daily activity.

She also likes subtle sass, like when I said "But I don't bench as much as you yet."  YET

I love mine. I really, really love it. I don't think it's 100% accurate, but I know how to calibrate around it (if that makes sense). It definitely gives me a decent idea of sleep quality and general activity levels but I log other activities separately.

 

No Under Armour Outlets near here. That's about as cheap as I seem to be able to find that bag so far and haven't seen anything else similar. :(

Husband seems to be good at carrying bags, but I don't take either husband or coach to the gym most days.

 

There's an Under Armour shop at Haymarket, you might get lucky and catch a sale.

How much is that bag? I'm also in the market for something similar.

 

It's £48.35 or something like that. The other bag I looked at (a basic 55L hiking bag) was £40, so I guess it's not that bad. I'm just fed up of the Slazenger one and it's falling apart.

I'm pretty sure I've done 105kg x5x5 before. I might be imagining that, though. :)

 

Road to 140kg! I want that squat by the end of the year.

 

 

Did a bit of lax balling this morning. Took a bit of bravery but I think it helped a bit.

 

Oh, and I got 7h53m sleep last night (lights out for 8h07m).

Nope, next week is 110kgx5x4, then 115kgx3x3 and finally 122.5kgx3x3 just under a week before my comp (all being well).

Those numbers are pretty much identical to the one you call your idol who is soon becoming your rival.

You probably never played that game, so do not understand the reference.  But you never know!  Shh.  It's not a very nice comparison because they are kind of opposites in terms of character.  But the comparison of deadlift numbers makes the reference very relevant.

 

Baldur's Gate - There is an optional part of the game where Shar-Teel Dosan (the character pictured) challenges the strongest male character in the party to a duel.  She's mean.  She's evil.  She hates men and has a chip on her shoulder against men, so she is inclined to challenge them like this.  If the party wins, she joins and pledges her sword to their cause, no matter how stupid (good) it is.

 

So when I joined NF, her numbers higher numbers made me think of this duel.  That and she can do a perfect cosplay with that helmet and some purple face paint.
