Introduction and Reason/Goals Within the Challenge

Hey everyone! I am really excited to be doing my fourth challenge with Nerd Fitness and my Second challenge with the Warriors! I can't believe I have been on this community this long, and I can't believe how much progress I have made already. A lot is going on in my life right now and I need to get centered, and with all the hype around the new star wars coming out I thought the lessons taught by Star Wars would be perfect.
-Currently I am coming off an injury from the last challenge, and I should be able to start lifting again as soon as July 24th, just in time for the challenge! But, to keep my wrist doing well I need to keep up the yoga and relaxation, for I have a tendency to go full force at life and leave no time for healing.
-I have a thing for a girl for the first time in years, and it is scary as hell! I have not gone on a real date in 3 and half years (my last breakup was a little rough), but due to my confidence from getting fit I think i will be asking her out in the next couple months. (I don't want to interfere with some stuff going on in her life at the moment) But, the point is I am scared out of my mind, and learning to let go and deal with this fear is critical to my health, so that will be a theme in this challenge. I am also training for a huge promotion, and that fear needs to be dealt this as well.
-Lastly, I am getting close to the end game I had sought for when I first stated looking at my health. I have lost a lot of weight so far (like 40 something pounds), and I am getting close to needing to start bulking, so that may happen with in this challenge. Though, that last 10 pounds in a lot harder than the first 40 in some ways. So I will be looking at burning a lot of fat, and possible gaining some muscle mass.
The support of everyone here has been huge for me, you guys are awesome!

Monday 7/27/15: I did a lifted, walked 4.4 miles, meditated, and went to an AA meeting.

It feels so good to lift again. I was bummed that I had to drop so much in weight to make sure my wrist could handle it, but I am just glad to be able to lift again.

I know the feeling dude!  I tore some abdominals in the beginning of June and didnt really get back to lifting till two weeks ago.  My first reaction: "MY NUMBERS!!! NOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Tuesday 7-28-15:

I walked 4.2 miles, meditated, and did a half hour of yoga-but, my diet wasn't great. I just kept wanting to eat. I will have to be more mindful of my calories today. Regardless, the new yoga plan I started using yesterday kicked my ass. It is much harder and my core is on fire still this morning, which is awesome. I think I figured out that my class isn't quite a warrior-the combination of a lot of warrior and druid styles makes it something a little different. Would I be arrogant if I wanted to call myself a Paladin?

In D&D terms I'd call you a Ranger or a Monk. Calling yourself a Paladin would be fine, its all for the fun and modivation.

What's so crappy about being a sith Lord? It's more like a different flavor of awesome. Star Wars characters that would better represent a fail prone loser would be like Ponda Baba or Captain Needa.

They are all power hungry ego maniacs who get killed???

Warriors don't count reps and sets. They count tons.

Update- Wednesday 7-29-15:

I walked 3.1 miles, did 20 minutes of strength yoga, did a lifting session, and I am sore as hell this morning!

Anakin in Episode 3 is probably the perfect archetype of everything bad about me and horrible my life becomes when I let anger, fear, and wanting to control everything run my life. The discipline and serenity of the Jedi are what I aspire to. (These are some great themes for a recovering drug addict like myself)

Couldn't agree more. Walter White is a power hungry ego maniac-and I defiantly don't want to be like him.

"Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering." -Yoda.

Perhaps all he will remember is fear, anger, hate, and suffering.

Sounds like way to much internal suff

True true, though episode 1 is probably the perfect archetype of everything bad a Star Wars movie could be.
