You bloody Madcow Seven!

Recommended Posts

I really wasn't going to do a Challenge this time around, however since taking on a new program that runs for 12 weeks, well why wouldn't I give it a go.

Smart Goals? Measurable Goals? Achievable Goals?

Weight Loss: at the end of 12 weeks I would like to have shed 5-10kg. Diet will have to be in on this one, less is more right.

Consistency: again.........LOL, lift consitantly for the full 12 weeks, 3x a week, this is going to take some planning, since I have 3 camps in August.

Exercise: the days I am not being a Madcow I need to do something, even if it means just a walk or a few laps before work.

Get Ultra Organised: work begins in August and I really need to get my files in order as well as not look disgustingly nasty in my bathers.

So we will see how we go this time around.

Big trip to the big smoke and back again, I felt like eating so I did, Hungry Jacks ( Burger King ), baked wild berry cheese cake, hugest latte ever, and toast for dinner. I am so going to pay for this tomorrow!

Seven hours on the road and nasty food, tired now.

Wait! What............?

The cheesecake wedge was seriously the size of my foot! The Dome ( Aussie coffee shop ) likes people to come away satisfied, it took me 13.5 minutes to eat it, like the old saying " how do you eat an elephant?" One bite at a time! Normally I could inhale lesser sweeties.

Time to get out of bed, apparently one of my children wants to go to school. LOL.

Cool Down:

Stretching

All this felt pretty good, still trying to get my head around the lighter squats, but that's ok. I did two sets of OHP before realising I still had my thongs on ( flip flops ), probably not the best lifting shoe ever! :) I also changed grip on the last 2 reps of 85kg for DL having grip issues due to sweat, spied some chalk the kids had left in the shed and used that, 5 reps at 95kg with double overhand! Was very mindful to use pinch grip with my left hand to move plates around. Forever working on grip strength!

To my surprise as I started my cool down the GOT theme started, my Little Brother must have put it on my music yesterday. He also spoilt me and brought me a Terminator t-shirt which is going to be my new workout shirt once I wear it for the next two weeks continuously. It will be my secret under armour for my Ambo uniform!!! :)

LOL, I'm a lightweight. For motivation and awesome lifting you should check out our Scottish cousins, Special Sundae and Tankweasel.

Keep smiling though Fearless, everyone has to start somewhere and a few years ago, 4 kg was bloody heavy for me too! you are doing a fantastic job!
