Spezzy's Everything Zen Challenge... take two

ill be writing up a full nats write up at some point, but not yet :)

 

last week just been getting back in the groove. I'm pretty sick and run down, but made it back for a few workouts.

 

monday i flew home

tuesday i did 3x10 bench @135lbs

weds i did 3x10 squat @87.5kg

thursday i got a massage

friday i did 2x10 deadlift @ 275lbs.

 

tried to stay under 70% for all this week. tomorrow will be light bench again though probably dumbbell and accessory. 

 

just want to feel betterrrrrrrr.

 

Those still look like big numbers for being sick.  Those sets of ten look kind of like what I would have been doing the week after Comp.  I was sick the week after Camp and I did nothing the entire week.

 

It looks like you avoided the Zombie Cold the rest of us got and I assume it did not affect your Competition.

It's attention span.  Nothing in what I quoted said a thing about 3 weeks.  It looks like she mentioned 3 weeks in her response to you.  But reading the other posts.  And attention span.

I meant more in terms of actual lifts.

 

I was really just hoping for PR's on everything. If I had done that I would have gotten the 400 total. If I wrap my head around individual lift numbers it's bad for me mentally.  I ended up with 2 meet PR's, but no actual PR's. And my bench was the same as when I competed in April. So disappointing overall.

It happens to the best of us.

I totaled a good 20-30kg less than expected at the British because I was ill, but nothing we can do other than get a total and move on to the next comp.

And there'll be even more there next time!
