Found the perfect apartment - priced right and great feel/flow ... sadly it isn't available to after we (potentially) close on the house which means we couldn't move in till after the house closes which is BAD as we NEED to move before ... and it would be the week before the wife's full which means SUPER stress ... who knew getting an apartment was so stressful

 

I'm tired of adulting today, can I cat instead?

2015-10-05 - Week 4, Day 1

Quest 1 : Run like QuickSilver

Camp was a PT test but nothing really running/sprinting ... so either Thursday or Saturday will be make this happen

Quest 2 : Get Black Widow's Flexibility

Not sure I can make this happen with all the moving parts going on this week, but I'm hoping to slid in a yoga flow after my run Thursday/Saturday as my usual Sunday is being eaten by wedding photography

Quest 3 : HULKBUSTER Smash Diet

I'll figure something out ... we're out A LOT this week for various reason (house/friends/etc) so might miss this one

Life Quest : Create a Vision

I'll figure something out but need to get my APG shots up from last week ... have the previously mentioned wedding so good times there!

Wow, your apartment hunt / house sale is moving really fast - we searched for a house for two years before we were finally able to move out of our apartment. Could the closing be pushed or maybe you could rent it back from the new owners for a month or something. Yeah, it takes a lot out of you!

Man, you two are really busy!

Make sure you give yourself some self-love around the busy-ness factor. It sounds like you're being good to yourself around it, but the negative crap can creep in if you're not watchful. This isn't everyday stuff you're tackling so be gentle and look for opportunities to be with your body and heart. I know, I'm being mom-ish, but that's what I do well so... lol

 

I hope an apartment comes along soon so you can relax a bit. Best of luck.

2015-10-07 - Week 4, Day 3

Quest 1 : Run like QuickSilver

Bootcamp was the PT mile aka run a mile as fast as you can. I managed a 7m54s mile, not my fasted (7m36s) but considering I'm ~15lbs heavier due to well ... really due to beer I'll take it.

Apartment Quest 2015 looks to be coming to a close.

 

Just filed an application for a place we liked, while it isn't as walkable as we'd hoped nor is it as big a life style shake up it is a floor plan we loved in an overall area we like.

No boot today so did a tempo run instead. Managed a 9m08s pace for 3.56 miles so go me!

Can't wait to see if I can break my 5K PR after the half ... here's hoping for a 2hr half!

2015-10-12 - Week 5, Day 1

Quest 1 : Run like QuickSilver

Did "Wall to Wall" at camp - we sprint from one wall location to another where we do various exercise then sprint back and do another set of various exercises. Some how I lead the group for 4 out of 6 sprints ... very strange as I'm easily the slowest

Nothing major to report here - did stretch post camp, at work and before bed but not enough to "count"

Oatmeals x4 + Chili for left overs ... good night for cooking!

2015-10-14 - Week 5, Day 3

Quest 1 : Run like QuickSilver

Boot camp was "The Hurricane" aka 5 minutes of various exercises followed by a 2 minute out and back sprint. I was upfront on the sprint each time with only 1 or 2 people ahead of me which confused me as I'm NOT the fastest person in camp but apparently I can sprint well X_x
