So I wasn't even going to do a challenge. Just to infrequently that I post because I'm busy usually, but screw it, you're not working out if you don't talk about it.

 

This challenge is very simple and is captured by the photo below.

Goal 1:
fat-kid-meme-generator-i-pick-things-up-

 

Step #1: Lift things up.

Step #2: Put them down.

Step #3: Repeat.

 

I've decided to use the Danger Method Base Block 1 , made by our very own JDanger. So far it's been working, I've only started it last week, but I feel good so far. It's a 4 day split, with an optional 5th day for addressing weaknesses (which luckily for me is upper body, so I just bro out). 

 

 

GOAL 2:

 

Eat things, try not to get fat. Finish out challenge under 205lbs. I just went through 4 months of strict dieting, so now I'm trying to find a happy medium where I am slightly at a surplus. I'll throw in some cardio if I start gaining the LBs. I don't want to get fat again like Brodin.

It sure felt like it was going to after day one. I just realized that week 2 has 4x10 at 90% of the 5RM. For a moment there, I thought you'd made an error there in your notes...

I guess I have more fun to look forward to.

That's in Block 2, I'm still in Block 1, so it's 90% of 10RM.

 

Deadlift day is a good day...

Seriously yesterday was a 

 

Post-25055-NOPE-not-doing-that-gif-S3vn.

 

I thought everything was fine, but by about 8:30a I was feeling dizzy and not getting any work done. So I told the boss and off I went home to sleep. Slept and ate shitty food and I'm back at it today. I honestly think I was just too damn tired from the deadlifts.

 

Back to work, meeting with my robotics students and I get to Bench and Squat tonight.

Robotics students?  What kind of robotics? (I ask because I'm a robotics coach/person.)

Yesterday's workout.

 

It was a killer workout. Since I had robotics, I started late, so I managed to do it an 1hr. Typically I take 1.5-2 hrs due to the 10 rep sets. With these being only 6 reps, it was a bit more manageable. Week 4 is going to suck! (5sets of 10reps). Ab work sucks but necessary.
