Wildross - I'm not doing a challenge, challenge

Podcasts! I need to get back into those, although I'm happy with my current audiobook run. What are 99% Invisible and The Memory Place about?

99% is "the hidden side of everthing". It and Memory Place are quirky history, cultural things.

Warriors don't count reps and sets. They count tons.

Week two of the challenge starts with day 3 of furniture moving....almost done with the big stuff. Then it will be more ladder stands for ceiling fans and painting.

Ok, since Friday I"ve not worked out at all in a gym. But I havew

1) put 4 coats of sealer/paint on a 2 car garage floor

2) emptied a 10x15 and an 8x8 storage shed by myself (except for the piano). That was about 5 loads with a 6x12 UHaul utility trailer and my pickup truck.

3) hung 3 ceiling fans (only 5 more to go) and 3 pendant lights

4) painted my office

5) come down with and (hopefully) recovered from a head/chest cold (moving from 95 to 70 degrees repeatedly while soaking wet with sweat might have something to do with it)

3 best investments so far (other than the house itself).  1) the trailer rental, much easier to deal with than a truck for short distances. 2) a four wheel furniture dolly for $20 (priceless!) 3) a new ladder with a really strong magnet embedded in the top of it.  Sure makes keeping track of screws and tools easier.

Christi's knack for matching colors over time and space (as in we bought stuff over 5 months time frame) and having it all match is amazing...

Saturday workout.  First workout after moving and a nasty head cold.  Mostly over the cold.

Inclined press 20x45,135,10x185,5x225,2x3x275
Squat 10x20kg,70,5x110,3x150,1x1x180

Sunday workout

Rack pull 10x20kg,70,120,2x5x160

Bench press 20x20kg,10x70,2x5x120
Manmaker 3x20,3x3x25

Monday workout

Rack pull 10x20kg,70,120,2x5x160

Bench press 20x20kg,10x70,2x5x120
Manmaker 3x20,3x3x25

I held up better than I was afraid I was doing the moving.  For various reasons, we don't have any friends to help us in the area.  Other than help with the piano, it was just me.  The Lord blessed and I got it all moved without breaking anything or hurting myself.  Some good cardio for sure.

Tuesday's workout.  I have another month at the NTC with the pretty plates, then I'll go back to Gold's which is much cheaper..

Squat 10x20kg,70,5x110,3x140,160,2x1x190
Bench 20x20kg,10x70,110,5x130,3x5x130
Curl press 10x35,40,45,5x50,3x5x55  these in #'s.  I used to have to do the 55's one arm at a time, no I'm doing them together without really thinking about it.  Biceps for the win..

Such nice plates.. Are they actually being used?

Yes.  They move around day to day.  There are 3 racks like this, each with it's own pad and 2 Eleko bars.  Plus trap bars.  It's not unusual for 2 racks to be in use at once and sometimes all 3.  There is a window to my left which overlooks an official Olympic certified pool (outdoor).

And that particular load was my squat set for the day.

You need to get up to 170kg for a proper rainbow bench! Crazy weights though, from my perspective at least :o I don't even deadlift quite that much....

Yeah, I know.  I think there may be a 1 kilo green set there too, so I can use that instead of the 10 kilo plates.

Yep.  I'm in the last group of lifters, starting on Sunday afternoon (as is Gainsdalf).  Spezzy and Cline lift Friday night.
