Thank you! Honestly it's rarely difficult for me to get into the gym these days, I really enjoy going and it's usually the main thing I'm doing for the day. The only day that's a big struggle to get in there are Sundays, since the workout is in the morning.

Apparently I'm weird. I love morning workouts...

 

Mostly because there are less people in the gym. Maybe it's because I'm a huge introvert?

I'm just not a morning person. I have a really hard time waking up and having enough energy to throw the bar around. This morning was pretty good, actually. 

 

I'd do a workout at 2am if i could. Does that count?

Counts enough for me.

Yeah. I'm going to try it again on Friday and see if it'll be enough of a stop-gap to last me until I can legit afford the new shoes, or if I need to wrangle together some favors to try and get a pair immediately.

Clean + jerk: These went well all the way up to 53kg, where I had solid cleans but couldn’t make the jerks. :( I don’t think I rested adequately between sets for those attempts.

didn't you recently get new shoes? :( Maybe you can sell them..

A gym-mate gifted me her old pair back in February around my birthday. I'll be asking her if she wants them back before doing anything else with them. :)
