W4  Sunday                               No shortcuts. Work for it.

 

Generally just a rest day, today, too. BUT I did go to the parkour court and worked out there like 2.5 hours. The beginners group only practiced like 3-4 moves; (I'm not sure about the names, so bear with me) precision jumping, safety vault, parkour roll, climbing a wall. Then a little strength work out and then some free practice. I tried not to do too much pulling exercises, since I'm supposed to not do any during the weekends, because I do so many during the week. Mostly I used my legs (probably gonna have doms tomorrow...) and did some dip-like pushing.

W5  Monday-Thursday                               Ability is limitless.

 

Oh, my god! My freaking legs (and my butt and core to a lesser extent) hurt for  three days, and even today I can still feel it. All the jumping and especially the landing I did on Sunday really took its toll. I guess, I had underestimated how untrained my legs were.... But now I'm ready again.

Lol.....glad the DOMS are better my friend. :)

W5  Friday-Saturday                               Successful people do daily what others do occasionally.

 

I've been doing nothing much these two days. Raked my parents lawn for two hours on Saturday and did a lot of walking. Today's gonna be another parkour attempt. Hopefully with less DOMS in the next days. ;)

W5  Sunday                               Think training is hard? Try losing!

 

IParkour was nice. There wasn't really teaching today, since not so many came because of the cold weather (including no children which made it way easier to concentrate). So, mainly I practiced what I'd learned last week and watched the more experienced guys. One of them showed me a simple flow by combining two of the moves I'd learned, which was fun. 

Aaaaaaaaaaaand almost no DOMS on Monday, nice!

 

Quest 1 – "Tansformed by the Bite" Armstrong Workout

Pull-Ups 3x5 during parkour practice. Those weren't max attempts, but since I did have to jump up to grab the bar, my ROM was a 100% (my bar at home is in my bath room's door), so there were perfect form pull-ups.

No doms for you! It seems to me like there ought to be more teaching going on when there are just a few people? It's a perfect opportunity to focus on some personal things..

 

It's probably a good idea to get priorities in order and set realistic goals. Hope things ease up a little so you can chase more shinies at some point :)

Ate a lot of shit this week, becaus of stress, but I got it under control again, thank god. No permanent damage done.

Challenge #7 Waldgeist trains like a Werewolf

 

Quest 1 – "Tansformed by the Bite" Armstrong Workout +1 STR I +0.5 STA I +0.5 CHA

First of all, I went from a 6 rep maximum to a 10 rep maximum, which is aweseome. For that alone I should get a prize!

But it could have been even better if I hadn't flunked out two weeks almost completely. Since consistency was just below average but peformance was great, I grade this a B with 50% of the stats points.

 

Quest 2 – "Move like a Fox" GMB Floor 1 Phase 2/3 +0

I dropped this one mid-challenge, because it was all too much. Good decision not just in hindsight.

 

Quest 3 – "Beast Mode On" Strength & Conditioning workout +0.25 STR I +0.25 STA I +0.25 CON

29% done, so barely a D, but at least I didn't fail.

 

Quest 4 – "Druids know stuff" Study +0

I didn't drop this quest, but I just as well could have. I had just too much stress at work and no clear study plan. Pretty much, F

 

Quest 5 – "Don't eat like a wendigo" Nutrition +1.5CON I +0.75 CHA

That one was a B-, it worked out pretty good, except for the terrible week 2. But it didn't help as much as I hoped, which is good feedback for the next challenge.

 

Challenge Goal: Get the basics down (Bodyweight + KB + Food)

Overall, I can say the basics work. Just not as much to actually make progress.... But it's a good starting point for the next challenge, which is constructed with the mistakes of this one in mind and also introduces a more clear goal for the next cycle of challenges.
