Since I strayed from the road to awesomeness in my last challenge, then skipped the next challenge, I am back to basics: Main Quest: "There and back again..." Goal: Continue to follow the path to a healthy lifestyle following the advice of the ones who did this before Description: It is most important for me right now to get back to a regular workout schedule, to log my food again and get that 1 Pull-up done. This Quest is fulfilled if all three main missions have been successful (at least B rating ) . Reward: TBD Mission 1: "Let's hunt some Orc..." Goal: Continue with 2-3 scheduled workout per week (total 17) and reach Lv. 3 of the Bodyweight Brigade path Description: I think I found a good rhythm in my workout Schedule which means I train 2-3 times per week (this week 2, next week 3 times). Already I get used to the stress put on my body by the exercises, except for push-ups and inverted rows, where I have to choose easier variants. But the important thing is that I already see progress, which motivates me and makes me confident that I can reach Lv. 3. Iceburner Posted September 19, 2015 Author Report Share Posted September 19, 2015 Summary week 1: Since I won't have time tomorrow to write an update, let me summarize this week already now: I started late into this challenge, but nonetheless kept my schedule: - On Wednesday and Friday I had my workouts for this week and now have a break until Monday. Thus I am on track for goal 1 and 3. - I was thorough with my food log, keeping track every day. Full points for goal 2.Also: Thanks to starsapart for asigning me quickly to the Human Assassin Group. I joined the Mini-Challenge 1 on Wednesday and since I have to walk quite a lot to and from work, I managed an average of about 4-5 km. Additionally I had a nice walk with my wife on Friday that got me another 3 km or so. Here are the detailed numbers: Wednesday: 4.78 kmThursday: 4.58 kmFriday: 8.02 kmSum so far: 18,38 kmI have a busy day today and tomorrow, but I am positive that I will do some more km. Go, Humans! Iceburner Posted September 30, 2015 Author Report Share Posted September 30, 2015 Summary week 2 and midweek report week 3: Oh no, I'm so behind schedule. Last week (w2) I just trained once and this week (w3) not at all so far. Doesn't look good for mission 1 and 3. I have to get better and finish week 3 strong. On the other hand I did well on mission 2 (tracked my food with discipline) and also contributed everyday on Mini #2. That got me at least some workout. I'm not 100% content with the food quality I eat the last days. Way to much carbs for my taste. Partly my fault, partly fault of my spaghetti and pizza loving friends. I guess my fault for having them Just kidding, I still like them. And a few months ago my diet looked the same and I would have been completely happy. Anyway, it's not part of my goals. Another thing that's not part of my goals is that I managed to get myself a new job in January. So that means I'll have more time now for training instead of preparing for interviews... One of them was a double Yoga session for the Mini #3. I'm not completely happy, since I didn't train for my pull-up in either workout. At least the food logging works well. Nonetheless I got lazy in the end and had a relaxing weekend with minor regrets. Minor, because this was the first really relaxing weekend for quite some time, without any things-that-had-to-be-done whatsoever. Iceburner Posted October 19, 2015 Author Report Share Posted October 19, 2015 Week 5 report: I nearly missed the Mini #5, but managed to throw in some bear crawls and leg lifts, before it closed. I participated but was not really motivated for the Mini Challenge Extension. I completely lazed around my workout goals, so no progress there. Goal 3 seems completely our of reach and for Goal 1 I really have to make an effort now. Let's end this post with something positive: My food logging is going really well.
