Fitness

  • Yoga (minimum of 30 consecutive days) - Completed 12/01/15
  • Meditation (minimum of 30 consecutive days)
  • Hold a handstand (10s?)
  • Lose 60 lbs. (From personal high of 277 on 1/1/15)
  • Get down to 16% BF
  • Do a chin-up
  • Do a pull-up
  • Squat my weight - Complete 02/01/16
  • Deadlift my weight
  • Bench-press my weight
  • Do 100 consecutive push-ups
  • Do 100 consecutive burpees
  • Do a Foam-Glow race
  • Complete a Spartan Race

 

Life

  • Get debt free (Credit cards, Auto & Student loans)
  • Become conversational / fluent in Spanish (using Rosetta, if I decide I do not like, start Duolingo)
  • Learn to play guitar well enough to serenade
  • Learn to dance (haven't decided which style yet, but will take lessons)
  • Become conversational in Irish
  • Become conversational in French
  • Become conversational in German
  • Buy a house

Edited my list above with updates.

There are several changes to my long-term plans and goals from where I was a year ago.

Negative side: I did not accomplish as much in 2016 as I had hoped.

Plus side: I am way better off (physical, mental, financial...) health-wise than I would have expected 2 years ago.

 

I am debating editing the list above to remove / add some goals to modernize this list.

Just a teaser, I am considering some hard core international travel in the near future (probably 2018 plans).

The "buy a house" is no longer really on my long-term goals (not ready to settle down).

But, I will get very very close to my goal of "debt free" status by the end of 2017!

 

Fitness goals have not changed much.

Life goals are all still fairly accurate (other than house).
