Brutal Bears Needs Some Druid Healing

Monday 11-16-16:

I walked 3.1 miles, hit day 21 without a cig, did a strength workout (leg day!), and came to a realization: I won't be able to finish the NanoWrimo Challenge. While writing a book is something I would really like to do it is clear that it isn't feasible at the moment, with where everything is at I had to choose one thing to go; the choices are school(it is mid terms week!), work, work outs, or my novel-so priorities dictate that "Swamp Rats" will be put on hold and penned more another, more fitting day...

 

 

Hey, no matter what you have more words now than you did at the beginning of the month.  You can always keep writing in downtime and use writing as a break from other things going forward.  I don't think I am going to finish either,  but  one thing I did  experience was love of writing stories again.  I am sure you  learned something at least!

I had a similar dilemma where if I was going to write stuff, it needed to be my thesis. So I can, finally, graduate in May.

 

Maybe we'll both be able to do ALL THE WRITING next year! [Fun writing, that is. Not thesis.]

Saturday 11/21/15 - Sunday 11/22/15 and Weekly Udpate

Over the weekends I hit day 26 with out a cig, walked 14.5 miles, did a upperbody session, got caught up in school, and found a couple geocaches- pretty awesome stuff!

 

Weekly Update:

4 Strength workouts a week.

I had been struggling a lot with my schedule, and weeks being consistent with working out, so

I'm going to try working out 4 days in a row-since they are the only 4 I can commit to, my plan will go as follows

Upper Body Workouts done: 5

Lower Body Workouts done: 3

Warm Up:

10 Jumping Jacks

10 Push Ups

20 Arm Circles-each arm

10 Lunges

10- of each type of leg kick

 

Sunday/Tuesday: Upper Body

This Circuit is done 3 times

8 Pull Ups

10 Bench Press

10 Shoulder Tap Push-Ups

10 Chins Ups

10 Barbell Curls

10 Overhead Press

 

Monday/Thursday Lower Body:

This Circuit is done 3 times

10 box jumps

10 squats

10 lunges

90 second plank

10 dead lift

 

Cool Down:

8 Min custom druid Yoga

So I didn't want to clutter up your group thread, but I'd totally be up for Dips and Dragons. However, current sicks are limiting my abilities... I'd love to be a tank, but I'm not sure that's feasible right now. Currently I'm doing lots of yoga.

Idk if that would help?

You could play a monk tank who uses a martial arts (yoga) to kick ass?

If it isn't helpful, don't worry about it lol. Just wanted to let you know I would be happy to help, but I also don't want to be in the way.

Lol, no it's super helpful-but I don't think there is enough interest do follow through with the idea.

Tuesday 11-24-15:

I walked 3.7 miles and did an upper-body workout.

As of this post (Wednesday the 25th) I have 30 days off smoking! With that goal met, I am feeling physically better than ever, now I just need to keep the non-smoking up!

I walked 7.2 miles (burning off some thanksgiving dinner), and did a lower body workout! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Now that you've hit the 30 day mark, do you have another goal?

lol, not much with the smoking. I think I'm just going to keep 'not quitting' just going another day without a cig, for a while. Then post my monthly cig birthdays as they come up.
