And my next parkour question is "How the heck do people find such good places to practice/perform that are devoid of other humans?!" In my 4 years at the university of Iowa, I don't think I've ever seen any part of the campus that empty XD

LOL, I remember my one friend Kong'ing OVER someone bent down to tie his shoe. It was hilarious.

As for empty spaces, we find more of them here at schools over the summer (highschools especially), and around the government buildings but that increases the liklihood of police types.

I suppose one of the rarely-spoken benefits of throwing extra flips and somersaults into parkour is that you are more likely to be seen as crazy kids goofing around, rather than felons fleeing the scene of the crime.

I remember someone (I think it was in the awesome book "The Courage to Start") talking about the importance of wearing obvious jogging attire if you are wildly out-of-shape and jogging on public roads, because otherwise, people will think there is an emergency, and ask if you need them to call an ambulance or something. Because clearly, you look like someone who'd only be running if someone was chasing them with a gun. So you have to wear a sweat band and carry a water bottle, to announce to any observers that there is no emergency, you are engaging in a deliberate fitness activity.

In my years working at a college I've noticed that during semesters, before 8 am it'll be pretty dead on campus because almost no one is awake yet. Between semesters, there won't really be anyone around unless they work on campus, and it's especially dead on those weekends.

OMG! Your are at the U of Iowa?! I worked there until about a month and a half ago (and I did undergrad there)!  I found the area by the Levitt Center to be pretty empty. The green space behind North hall and all the buildings is pretty deserted a lot of the time too, especially if you go north along the river. College of public health has some nice concrete blocks, but also large windows facing them :)

Ohey hi! I finished my undergrad there in 2010, and I've been back in my hometown of fairfield (60 miles south give or take) ever since but I go up almost weekly [emoji14]. If/when I start training parkour I'll have to remember these places :)

Nice! I graduated in 2012, worked there for 2ish years, and am now in New Jersey (ahhhhhh). Back when we had the Mauraders map (i think it was that one) mini and we had to explore, I used it as an excuse to check out parts of campus I had never been to (ie the other side of the river). Ughhh, I miss IC so much!

Officially, today's the last day of this challenge, yes. But your challenge ends when you want it to. I'm sure many people will be finishing up over the weekend.

The next challenge is scheduled to begin on Monday.

I honestly thought of many people from Airbender as being in the monks because each bending type is based off a real martial arts style, but I'm sure it's not that big of a deal. They snuck into enough places and do some pretty amazing assassin-type things throughout the series (I haven't watched Korra yet, just the originals).

I'd call Korra a monk, as she's all about the fighting.  Everything else she trains is just to supplement that, which includes assassin, druid, and ranger styles, IIRC.

Aang was a druid, since he focused on balance, harmony, and meditation.
