Ahhh I'm jealous of your rollerblading! Not so much the ballet, because I'd probably die in the first five minutes. make sure you rock that tutu!

Rollerblading is so much fun! I need to get back into that, perhaps this summer.

Good luck with your goals! And don't forget to check out the accountabilibuddies groups.

Not sure where the time went today - it jus flew by. Felt quite chuffed when at meal times I checked my self against my challenge goals - normally I get stuck straight in without thinking.

Nearly failed lunch with my fruit/veg free "cheese" toastie, but then remembered my goal and threw a massive handful of salad leaves on top. Go me!

Hmm, looks like I am going to have to put my meal quests into my epic quest when complete (or type them all out a million times), quests can either be pass (assigned xp) or fail (0 XP) - no options for different XP within a quest depending on performance. Other than that, I like.

Have modified my quest scoring slightly to fit in better with the new Epic Quests page - will see how things evolve.

Am chuffed to have completed today's quests as I have let everything else slide.

Yesterday and today have been really bad days. Yes, I've completed my challenge tasks, but everything else I have chosen to let go to pot. Really annoyed at myself, and must stop choosing to sabotage myself like this all the time. Am really down about this, and about life in general. Am also really scared about this ballet class tomorrow. Right now, I am really regretting that particular 20 seconds of courage...

Challenge wise today was good. Did my meal things OK,and went to my first ever ballet lesson! I now ache, which is a great feeling. I did however manage to go to the wrong building at first, wandering around empty cavernous rooms wondering where everyone is, and then I managed to get locked in and security had to come let me out <blush> I also discovered that I have a totally irrational fear of being locked into places - I totally panicked, and there was no need to at all.

We can't control what we're afraid of, just try not to let it control us.

I know. I was just so taken aback at my own reaction, then realised it has happened a couple of times before. I'm just wondering what dark childhood memory I am suppressing...

Way to go attending ballet even though you were nervous!

Nervous was not the half of it! Was ready to turn around and go home after the locking in incident, and then arrived at the class which was primarily composed of willowy young things, and then lumpen me :D

----

I'm getting better at remembering about my challenges, and checking myself before I eat, rather than half way through. Does this mean I am developing habits?

I'd say you're making those habits, definitely!

Oh man! I'm doing really badly at the moment, and using NF against myself "It's not in my challenge so I'm not going to do it today".

Or maybe I should reframe. Things outside the challenges don't matter? I should concentrate on my challenges and at the end of the four weeks they will be an ingrained habit, and not a chore, and then I can build on top of that, rather than fretting about all of the things I should be doing?

I'm really scared about going back to rollerblading - I'm going to go (skates were too expensive not to!) but it's been a long time since I went.

Or reframe, as an exciting " new" challenge that I know I really enjoy?

It's hard to decide what is most important to focus on and what can wait - it all seems to need to be done yesterday! Small steps are good, build your habits, then add new ones.
