I'm really hoping the new four-week challenge works for me as I do tend to get a little derailed after a few weeks. I've spent 2015 between 11 - 11.5 stone (mainly nearer the 11.5 mark), so I'm aiming to get back down to 11 this year and overall reduce body fat and increase my strength. I currently walk at least 5 miles in my commute, try to do 20 press-ups each morning and do 2 minutes of squat while brushing my teeth in the evenings. I sing in two choirs which rehearse Tuesday and Wednesday evenings and am doing a panto on 9th January and an Old Tyme Music Hall on 16th January. I'm hoping these don't derail me from my challenge!To help with the derailing I've joined the super exciting, and world domineering Doodlie group (I'm a Cronut, woop!) so, big shout out to all the Doodlies out there and their awesomeness Here's my challenge: Morning jogsBefore Christmas I decided to start going for a short run before getting ready for work - usually I'm really lazy in the morning, snooze the alarm loads and end up rushing to make work on time. On jog days I got in a 10 min jog, felt like I was more laid back getting ready and was getting to work early, huzzah!So every day I go to work, I have to get a jog in.Points: 1 per day, 2 bonus points for completing all 5 (maximum 28 points) Better eatingsFor this challenge I'm switching back to a generalised calorie count rather than adding exercise on to 'sedentary' (mfp set to 'active' and lose 1lb a week - kick start to the New Year), and I'm allowed to go over calories a maximum of four days in the four week period.Points: 1 per successful day, 2 bonus points for seven days in a row (maximum 36 points)As well as calorie counting, I'm trying to move towards eating as unprocessed as possible and make as much as I can from scratch. I already make my own bread, jam and chocolate, am in the process of making yogurt right now, and will have a go at making cream cheese from the yogurt tomorrow. No points for this, but I'm sure I'll be healthier for it. DumbbellsI need to get back on this as I've had to reduce the weight on them! For this challenge I need to do 3x10 sets of three different exercises, at least three times a week. Exercise choices are bicep curls, military press, bench press, dumbbell row and straight-leg deadlift.Points: 1 per successful day, 2 bonus for doing three times a week and an extra point if I get any more in (maximum 24 points) Scoring:<44 EPIC FAIL45-54 Grade D55-64 Grade C65-74 Grade B75-84 Grade A>85 - EPIC WIN My main aim for this challenge is to get the morning jogs part of my every day work routine and reduce the amount of processed foods I eat. Going to leave it a couple more hours then drain it overnight for cheesing NEVER CHECK IT! This can cool it too quickly. Also have a loaf of bread baking where I used the leftover whey instead of water. I feel like whatever else happens this year, I've already won ;D mmmm! Whizz up some egg yolks and olive oil and you have mayonnaise! Add a tbsp of whey to it, and you have mayonnaise that lasts for WEEKS! I love making yoghurt and butter, it's the best! I don't know if you were following the challenge I did early last year when I made everything from scratch?
