I'm drinking more water today in your honor, so I hope you're drinking plenty too! 

 

I've had about 76 ounces today so I've been pretty watered up today.

 

 

Pass because you made things happen. Every squat and glass of water was something you could have skipped but didn't.

 

Yes, I know. It's just been tough seeing the upside of things when I know I could have done more.

 

 

But also, you are clearly squatting more than the 2 year old cousin... Cause math and physics. Progress is always good. Be patient and kind with yourself, especially while handling toxins.

 

I'm trying, truly I am. Being kind is a hard thing since I figured I'd be elsewhere, with different focus, a week ago.

 

Going to do a real update tomorrow morning (all things being equal). Thank you all again for your support!!

Week Three Mid-Week Recap

 

So, I was expecting to be finished with one goal but that one is on a TEMPORARY hold. It WILL still be completed by the end of this challenge.

 

Water has been good these first two days of the week and today already has 48 ounces and the night is young.

 

Food, yes, I've been tracking but I really need to reevaluate my choices.

 

This week's exercises would be likely to kill me if I try them at this point in my journey but I will do other things in its place. Did some wall pushups at work yesterday, maybe some assisted squats tonight when I get home.

 

Overall a pretty good week. Hopefully will have more downtime soon to be able to catch up, stalk, and cheer you all on! :)

Thursday Checkup

 

More time to update today than yesterday so here it goes!!!

 

Exercise: None in yesterday again but the weekend is upon us, plus some early morning stress eating means I really need to do something, anything this weekend.

 

Water: Another 72 ounces yesterday and many compliments on my work mug. Let's see if we can keep this up all weekend.

 

Food Tracking: Tracking went well yesterday, even withwith me having stuff at home. Proper tracking doesn't have to come from a company's website but from correctly taking your ingredients and compiling the data.

 

Goal Four: No change in physical progress.... mentally there's no doubt, no chance that I'm changing my mind. And now I may have a low confrontation exit strategy :)

I've been tracking the old fashioned way with a notebook and a pen. I still used MFP too but some days it is just easier to write things down as I go. MFP is hard to do quickly if you are eating homemade food with lots of ingredients.

I agree, I try to enter things in their recipe section at the beginning of the week so I can log them quickly when the time comes....sometimes it's surprising how many calories some items have!

Me too...

 

They are pretty nice plus since I can get nicely filtered water at work, it works out pretty well (if I can avoid getting the soda of course). Now, while that one was good, I'd really like this one:

I actually prefer your method and may go back to doing that. Nothing like good old-fashioned pen and paper.

Week Three has been a bit of a mixed bag but it is what it is. Let's see what happened:

 

Exercise: Since this week's mini consisted of pull ups, that was outside of my useful area of expertise. So I did do some wall pushups so I did do a little something in the meantime. With this week being a CORE week, I'm going to do any that I can without damaging myself too much.

 

Water: Lots of encouragement plus a little cup envy got me six solid days of water intake (including a night at a restaurant with really fancy food). More wetness plans for this week!

 

Food Tracking: Decently well but I really need to do a better job at food choices AND calculating it out.

 

Goal Four: Currently 32 percent complete. I foresee much completion of this goal right at the very end of the challenge...Then there will be much celebrating and explanation.

 

Everyone have a great final week to this challenge!!!
