Day 14

 

Nourishing Eating - screen for dinner (delivery food while skyping with my Mom)

 

Eating the Moment #5 - practiced eating bite by bite again, see the seven steps per bite that I posted before.  Easier this time around, methinks.

 

Nourishing Movement - IS2w3d5 - Strength & Endurance Supersets

 

Warm Up

Superset #1
Inverted Press (weight to front)
Push Ups
Rest 2 minutes

Superset #2
Hollow Body Series (face up, side, face down, side) 30 seconds per position
Halfway Bridge (still sooooo excited)
Rest for 2 minutes

Repeat the whole thing thrice

Jump Rope - 1 minute on, 1 off x3

 

ALL smooth and solid.  Booyah.

 

Nourishing Sleep - fake sunrise and 30 minutes of light in AM, screens off at 8pm, woooooooo!

Week 2 - WEEKLY WRAP UP

LESSONS LEARNED

  • Doctor’s lounge is an eating trigger... still

  • stressed = desserts

  • It is hard to turn off screens when you are still doing doctorly paperwork

  • I basically only eat in front of screens now to hang with people, which is not a huge problem

  • Fake Sunrise Light is awesome!

  • I'm Nerd Famous ;)

Streamlined a little bit this week.  Less fluff.  More awesome!  Still... I hear more work coming...

How did you get started on those l-sits, i just... can't. And i don't know how to work it...

Get in to a tuck L-sit position.  Keep your toes on the floor.  Hold for time and make it pretty.  ;)

Day 16-19

 

Nourishing Eating - no screens, good choices other than sweets... mmmm, I smell a goal for upcoming challenges

 

Eating the Moment #1 - mindful of first bite practice, and repeating it a few times during the meal

 

Eating the Moment #2 - put down my utensils between each bite = hard!!!

 

I did more, but can't remember.  Boo.  :(

 

Nourishing Movement - on track here!  Crazy spoiler of INTEGRAL STRENGTH below.

Warm Up

Inverted Press (weight to front), then regular push up. 2 minute rest.

Just catching up and being soooooooo in awe  :rapture:

 

I really struggled with my routines over the last two weeks and my schedule is way less hectic than yours, yet here I sit watching you rock ALL your epic goals!! It simply shows me it CAN be done and that is so good to read right now. Oh, and big, big w00ts on your shrimp squats and L-tuck-sits btw and all the rope jumping and running and all. Wow, just wow

Challenge Wrap Up

 

What?!  I miss my 6 week challenges, but change is inevitable.

 

Sorry guys.  Work, it was crazy.  As much as I just want to say I screwed everything up.  You're right.  I'm awesome.  I did not screw everything up.  I prioritized and did what I could.  My willpower was all spent on work stuff, so I ate like an a$$hole, but that doesn't mean I didn't learn and progress.  So... wrap up.

 

Nourishing Eating - 75%

 

I used and shared many experiments from Eating the Moment.  This last week I probably employed them 3/5 times, so I'm giving myself a round 75%.  I've learned lots of useful techniques for eating more mindfully.  My favorites are taking meals bite by bite and only having one bite of a tempting sweet.  I plan to continue using these in the next challenge as I tackle my nemesis... THE SUGAR DRAGON!!!

 

Nourishing Movement - 100%

 

Technically I missed one active rest day.  But otherwise, I have stuck to Integral Strength purrrrrfectly.  So.  I'm awesome!  I've done almost all my workouts and they've been pretty much all smooth and solid... so I'm not going to post them.  You trust me, yes? Yes!

 

Nourishing Sleep - 82% 

 

I missed the screens off deadline a few times this week and twice earlier in the challenge.  This week were related to working forever... but I also spent time past 8pm on electronics to "unwind" which is less than ideal.  Still... much better sleep habits at night.  Having a hard time getting up in the morning despite my new fancy light.  This is likely related to overwhelming work stress of doom.

 

Keeping Track - ungraded?

 

Probably my weakest link... but I have systems going that let me keep track and back fill most of my data.  I also completed 2 weeks of data collection for my experiential happiness PVP, but I have yet to summarize and post the results.  So, stay tuned.
