Okay okay I see... Ah here we go, suggested quest ideas that's the ticket (thanks for providing that BTW)

 

Alright so here we go:

 

Diet:

1) Take lunch with me at least 3 days (currently bringing lunch zero times so baby steps)

2) Drink more water! Drink 1 glass with a meal everyday (I drink next to zero water now so I'm expecting to have to pee a lot more now)

 

Fitness:

1) Complete the NF BBW at least 1x a week

*Edited 9/Jan/2015: No longer doing BBW as quest goal. New quest goal is 2 additional gym workouts a week besides when I go for personal training*

 

Level Up Your Life:

1) Take daily vitamin! (I think that counts as a level up....)

Status Report Day 2 of Week 1:

 

So far so good if I must say so myself :)

 

~*~ Lunch Quest - 1/3 so far. Today lunch didn't happen period let alone bring it (I know I know if I would have brought it then I would have eaten lunch, I'm working on it)

 

~*~ Water Quest - 2/7 so far. I'm killing the water, drank one 16oz glass yesterday & today (yes yes I know that's not a lot but for me it is, baby steps!)

 

Caveat to water quest: Did I predict I was going to have to pee more or what! Just wait till I up my water goal next time, yikes!

~*~ BBW Quest - 0/1 so far. Hell if I'm being honest I haven't exercised at all these past two days, no excuse just being lazy. And cold, like seriously who forgot to close the damn fridge!

Sounds good. You are doing really well with some of them. Water is really important so this is good.

Try to get your BBW in today. You'll feel better for it.

Have you tried making your lunch the evening before so you just have to grab and go? I often make mine at the same time I am preparing dinner.

Keep smiling and being positive.

Hello!  I just enjoyed your gifs.  When I first started trying to drink water I used the Plant Nanny app.  Cute little plants that will shrivel and die sadly if you don't water them by drinking.  Helped me get into a good habit.  Good luck with your quests!

Week 1 Day 6

 

~*~ Lunch Quest - 3/3. Goal met woohooooo!!

~*~ Water Quest - 5/7 so far. One day I forgot my water bottle at home and when I got home I just didn't want water, no excuse just didn't want it. So if I drink my water tomorrow I'l finish the week with 6/7, not bad for a start.

 

~*~ BBW Quest - 0/1 so far. I think I'm going to have to change this quest cause honestly I just don't want to do the BBW, I did it for awhile before this challenge and it wasn't my thing. And I decided to choose it because I didn't have any other fitness goals in mind.

 

But today I signed up for 2 personal training sessions a week at my gym so I know I'll be going more. So I think my new goal for this challenge is to go to the gym 2 additional more times on my own a week, which puts me at 1/2 for this week.

 

~*~ Vitamin Quest - 6/7 so far. This has one has been easier than I thought, no effort just gotta take it. If I remember to take it tomorrow I'll end the week with a 7/7.

Overall it hasn't been a bad week 1, room for improvement but overall I'm pretty satisfied with myself. I'll grade my week once it's really over.

So before I start with this weeks progress I need to tally up the first week!

 

*Lunch Quest 3/3 100%

*Water Quest 6/7 85%

*Fitness Quest 1/2 50%

*Vitamin Quest 7/7 100%

 

Overall average was 83.75%, a solid B. First week in my first challenge, I'll take it!!!

Now for week 2!!

 

Things are going really good this week. I had my first personal training session on Monday and he kicked my ass! I'm so sore today but it's a good sore, a sore that said dammit if I didn't do something good! The trainer was really impressed with me, he said I exceed his expectations and if I continue to work as hard I'll have no problems reaching my goals in a year. It really has me pumped, I'm super excited with everything that is to come this year!

 

I've honestly never felt this motivated. I've tried to lose weight & get in shape the past 8-9 years and never succeeded but this time I really feel like I can do it; I actually believe in myself which is huge! Part of the credit has to go with this site, you guys are awesome support and this challenge is helping me stay accountable. Nerd Fitness rocks!!

 

I'm so motivated that I'm thinking about signing up for the Warrior Dash this May! In one hand this has me so scared because I've never done anything like it and I'm so heavy & out of shape right now. But in the other hand I know if I keep going and pushing I'll be in better shape by then and won't be as heavy so it won't be as hard. Plus knowing I've signed up will be extra motivation not to slack off. And i've always wanted to do a Spartan Race and this is like it's easier cousin so it's a first step in that direction.

 

Gah I'm nervous, advice would you sign up or not?

Fitness Quest - 0/2 so far, remember my goal is to go 2 additional times besides with my trainer.

Vitamin Quest - 2/7 so far, IDK why I thought this was such a hard thing to do before it's really not. I've just been lazy about it I guess

A Warrior Dash in May is a pretty epic quest, go for it! :)

Gah I've been gone for so long, I've been lost in the real world and haven't had the chance to make it online and post.

Week 3 hasn't been as productive. Part of it is my own fault, lazy habits rearing back up, and part of it is beyond my control like the weather
 
*Lunch Quest 2/3 so far, but with the blizzard starting today I'm not bringing lunch cause I'm trying to get all my clients done early so I can be off the road before it really hits
*Water Quest 4/7 so far, this at least has been going well
*Fitness Quest 1/2 so far, but the gym is probably going to be closed when I normally go on Sunday from the storm.... we'll see what happens 
*Vitamin Quest 3/7 so far, this one hasn't been going good I forgot to refill my weekly pill thing and so I forgot to take them for a few days
 
My personal training sessions have been awesome, Jonathan is a great trainer and he's been kicking my ass (but in a good way of course). I'm loving it, because even if I don't want to get up & go I have to because yes I already paid for it but mainly he's there waiting for me and I don't want to let him down.

increased the sex life, hubby is loving that I'm working out more and things in the bedroom have gotten hotter!

 

Final news is the thing I'm sure everyone has heard about, the blizzard!! If you've been following the news at all I'm sure you heard that the worst is supposed to be north & west of Washington DC, which is right where I live. They're predicting over 24+ inches of snow, that is so not cool!! I'm from Florida, born and raised, I'm a tropics girl all the way. I hate being cold and I really dislike the snow, so this weekend is going to suck! For anyone else in the affected areas be safe!

I unfortunately have to go out in a bit but I'm hoping to be done by 2pm at the latest so fingers crossed I can get home safe before it really gets going. But god forbid something happens on the road like a bad accident and I get stuck in the car as things pick up I always have an emergency winter kit in the car so I'm not worried.

I have also had a great deal of success with working with a personal trainer.  It is expensive but that makes me take it and my other training seriously because I don't want to feel like I am wasting money.

*Vitamin Quest 4/7 so far, made sure my pill holder was filled this time, don't want a repeat of last week.
 
With this being the last week I need to start thinking about guilds. Should I stick with the Rebels once more before venturing out or should I go ahead and test the waters to see where I might belong.....

Those four I most closely relate to, I just don't know which one suits me best. I think what I should do is try out each and see which one I connect with the most. But which to start with...

Once your body figures out what to do with all the water you're taking in, the getting rid of it part should get better.  

 

Have you checked in with any of the guild halls?  I've heard adventurers is a good place to start when you're not quite sure where to go yet.  I went directly to the Rangers myself.  It's just an awesome group of people and there are so many things going on.  Fitness activities I had never even heard of before that look like fun, awesome thread themes and stories.  I think I will always vote ranger, but it might be good for you to just check in with the general discussions in each guild and look around at the challenges to help you decide.  Randomly chat up some nerdy strangers :)   Also, you can move around.  If you find one place is not the best fit, try another next challenge.  Explore until you find the best place for you right now.

This was a great first challenge, I did better than I expected.

 

I can't believe the next challenge has already started, was not prepared for that. So I'm either going to join late or skip this one and wait for the next one. Either way I'm still going to try my best to keep up with these quests.

 

If I decide to join up I'll post here which guild I can be found in.
