--> Workout will be at home today, Chisel Balance. Yahoo! No workout at work today as there wasn't one schedulled.

-->Balance DEFINITELY works as progress towards pistol squat, and a little bit on flexibility too I think,

-->  So far so good, breakfast was 2 eggs, 4 slices tomatoe, one large chai tea, and a parfait (greek yogurt, berries, oats, chia seeds, granola). Will keep on top of it for lunch too. And dinner will be TURKEY!

--> Going to have to tweak some slow cooker recipes to fit my portions for the CHisel meal plan but nothing too esoteric.

Finally i have time to scribble some here! Subbing will be for tomorrow since the ipad somehow doesnt want me subbing people. Quite the challenge you have laid out, a lot of stuff i want to try out, but i just don't think i could stuff more in my busy life. So oow well in a couple of challenges i will have time for aomething new, hopefully.

Your challenge looks very intense but I would expect nothing less!  I have a running goal too, add a run to my weekly exercise routine.  What I really want, what my real running goal should be is to run well enough that I don't panic everytime I see running in the WOD at my xfit gym.  I just want to be chill about it, like "oh, run an 800m?  no problem.  I got this."

--> I earn the big dummy award for yesterday. I nuked food when I got home and wolfed it down, and PAID FOR IT. Unhappy tummy for HOURS. Note to self, check for mayo before nuking. *SAD FACE* But I already did spin today so I might sub out the pre planned Cardio session at home tonight and do the balance work instead. It'll be good for me.

--> balance work will give me pistol squat and flexibility work, thinking that tomorrow which is weight training and upper body tabata will DEF go towards the chin up progression as well as helping handstands. YAY!

-->So I ate superwell yesterday until the evening and them unhappy tummy issues happened. Hubby got us italian food to try and convince me to eat again and I ate mani cotti. Delicious but nowhere on my meal plan list. Today however is going so much better, yay me!

-->SioYAY got my workout in this morning. I went to bed at like 9:30 and woke up at 4:57 before the alarm could go off. Thought about going back to sleep and skipping workout, but got up and did it instead anyways. Great workout. Also, I am apparently teaching this workout to my friends on Monday next week so yeah... OHMYGODGONNADIEINPUBLIC! The group workout today is upper body TABATA which should be fun.

--> Got chin up, pistol and handstand progression work in. Going to try and sneak some flexibility in next

-->I got both my workouts in yesterday and it felt amazing! I kicked some serious ASS during the TABATA class too, espeically in the core section. Let me tell you it was quite the feeling of accomplishment when the skinny fit guy was trying to keep up with ME during the routine! :D I already got my yoga in today as its a day off of the hammer and chisel routine, and I have advanced spin this after noon.

--> Got flexibility progression in this morning and it felt great for my back and oddly enough, my right thigh. Huh.

-->Eating healthy is going super well. Those little portion things are damn handy. It's like, oh I get 4 green and red, that means I can eat these things off the list and not worry about it. It makes it really easy to go 'no I am not eating that I have this to eat instead'

--> Meal prep last night for today's dinner and everything went in the slow cooker this morning. Last night's slow cooker peanut satay was oddly filling and rather delicious, it will be a repeat recipe I am sure of it.

--> didn't vaccum but the adulting was taken care of in the format of helping my husbands mental health. Stress from drama at work that I am not going into. But yeah, it was an emotional night for him and I was there to help him. Beats vacuuming anytime.

--> played a little Dragon Age Origins but keep getting MURDERED by the lair of the werewolf. Shit. Then watched the Chronicles of Shannara because I love that book series and it was SO COOL so see it in TV form. Even though they do change things from the book in ways that make me angry. Like the whole inexplicable SEXISM of the Chosen. Which was never in the book!

-->So yesterday I woke up and did yoga and felt AMAZING. And at noon I did a HARDCORE SPIN CLASS OF DEATH. Because sweet lord I was dripping sweat throughout it and seriously thought my legs were going to give out at parts. It was great. BUT thanks to under eating last night I got up this morning to a sour stomach and sore body and knew better than to try to workout until I got some food in me. So no workout this morning, but I have a pure lower body workout coming at noon.

-->the workout at noon is DEFINITELY going to have pistol squat work in it, because I make a point to do that to myself in this class.

--> so far no alcohol has been working. I have a trip home this weekend so I'll keep to the no booze thing but I know that we have a wine event coming up on the 20th, and then a concert/medieval times trip the weekend of the 22nd where chances are booze will happen, and I am planning for it. I'm allowed one beer with dinner and one at the concert, or two at the concert and that's it. Otherwise my healthy eating habits are going VERY well.

--> so the slow cooker meal I had cooking all day yesterday was a terrible FAIL. Made it too damn spicy for me to eat. Not in the 'oh this is uncomfortably hot' way, but in the whole 'this feels like chewing LAVA AND GLASS' way.

Resist the Scale!!! I'll weigh myself everyday if it keeps you away from yours. Either that or I'll invade Canada ;) and as much as I'm a fan of Saving the Ta-tas, boob lose is good lose.

Sorry about the food heatwave. I know that some things need spicing up, but spicing down I'd a lot more difficult. So very glad to see that you adulted by napping. :)

I'm actually doing well on resisting the scale. It's just weird today because work starts a Biggest Loser competition today and there's monetary rewards for pounds lost. But I have done the scale battle all last year and it didn't make me feel better so this time I am determined to only do it at the beginning and end of my challenges. Just like the measurements and progress pictures. So I don't start obsessing.

And for me loosing boobs is oddly encouraging. I'm not stacked, but I've always had fabulous cleavage. It has to do with the shape of my sternum and breast bone instead of my boobs, so I can loose boob and keep cleavage LOL.

Oh the nap was wonderful. I fell asleep as Frodo was picking up the Ring and woke up when Gandalf was fighting Saurman. After that my head and my body felt WORLDS better.

 

LOL on the food. I can handle spicy for the most part, but the recipe called for chili powder and jalepenos. I used cayenne powder, chilies and crushed habaneroes. My own fault for the lava death.

Nicely done on everything but the lava and glass. That sounds like it is made of OW. 

 

LOL, yeah I know. It was funny too because my husband is a lot better about spicy food than me and after a few bites even he was like 'yeah, this is spicy'. THe worst part? Beyond being too spicy it was boring as fuck tasting. GO figure.

When we were working different times I could get away with screwing up dinner and getting something else to cover for it. There were a few times hubby came home to 'we're ordering pizza, please ignore the hideous smell coming from the kitchen'. But since I AM TRYING to eat well, I can't just do that. LOL. Meh. hubby will eat the left overs eventually. I stuck them in the freezer as tonight I get to drive home and see my mom and dad for the first time since October.
