Ok here it is finally.

 

As you may or may not know, December brought lots of changes for me. I accepted a new job, which involved me quitting my job, commuting 2+ hours a day and essentially living out of my car for 2.5 weeks while starting the new job, moving cities, new gym, holidays and everything that comes with it.

I’m finally settled into my new place and loving my new job. Now that I have some stability (and a kitchen!) it’s time to get back to something resembling a healthy lifestyle. I’ve been very stressed out the past few weeks it’s showing (fatigue, zits, stuffy nose) Getting back to a routine with exercise and nutrition should help this.

 

Goal 1: Do the workouts.

Jan 4 -29 has 18 workouts scheduled. I’m doing a 2 on – 1 off schedule. Running a 5/3/1 esque program for the big 3, with a 4th day of mobility and balance. I love it and I’m feeling so strong. I  aim to get all 18 workouts in, but anything 16+ will be considered a success.

 

Goal 2: Prepare

I need to get back in the habit of regularly preparing meals. Even if I don’t stick to my meal plan for the week, I need to get back in the habit of creating a weekly meal plan and preparing the meals ahead of time. Take the guesswork out of “what’s for lunch today?†and makes the grocery store a much more pleasant experience.

I prepped this Sunday, must prep at least 2 more times for this to be considered a pass.

 

Goal 3: Track

Track workouts and calories/macros as best as possible and post here for accountability. Even if I eat out or binge, try my best to determine calories and macros. Tracking workouts should be easy, nutrition also easy, off-plan nutrition is where it will be difficult.

 

Life Goal: Don’t be a hoodrat

Now that I don’t have to be to work before dawn, I actually have time to make myself into a presentable human before work. My goal is to do my hair and makeup every work day. Doesn’t have to be anything fancy with the hair, even a headband will class me up a little. Makeup certainly doesn’t have to be fancy, but at a minimum I’d like to have mascara or foundation. I think I look fine without it, but I feel better on days when I wear it (Hard to explain, but my ladies I know you feel me!) I will be held accountable by posting selfies here on the reg. (Bonus! Get to work on my subpar selfie skills.)

FYI... MM hates cat gifs so this probably doesn't encourage her to get off her butt and get this challenge going.

Therefore, I propose that if she doesn't respond here that we flood her battle log with annoying cat gifs.

Well, since I don't know her well enough yet to deliberately annoy her, I have replaced the cat with Agent Cooper.

God I'm a terrible person. For some dumb reason I wasn't following my own challenge and therefore didn't see any of your comments. I didn't think any of you cared :'(

I do have Internet and have dedicated time tonight to update this! But for now, I meal prepped yesterday and it feels amazing.

I miss all you sexy nerds, I'll never doubt you again.

 

The dumb reason is your forgot to hit "follow" on your own Challenge thread.  Actually it's pretty easy to assume you are automatically following your own thread.

 

Correction:  You are not a terrible person, of course.  It's just you feel terrible that so many people posted and got no response.

 

It's also a very busy time of the year and this came up very suddenly.  Expected, but sudden.

Correction:  You are indeed not  a terrible person, of course.  It's just you feel terrible for coming to terms with the fact that you are indeed terrible and despite that so many people still posted and got no response.
