Well my triceps are still super sore from doing a bunch of push-up work on Monday BEFORE the mini was posted, but I finally attempted some wall push-ups. Not great and I know I could have done a lot more normally, but it's a data point! And I'm assuming that anything done before the mini doesn't count, right? Or my shoulder, in this case. I had felt some trouble brewing, and didn't do anything about it. That push-up felt like a knife through my shoulder. I rested from April to august (while starting some light rehabilitating exercises in July). From September I stepped up my exercises and worked through November. I tried pushing exercises again in November/December, with some regular and diamond push-ups and a tiny bit of bench press. Today I tried the one armed again. I tested one while at work (teaching PE class), with my left arm. At home I did one of my dip sets, before taking the stance for a right (my dominant arm) one armed push up. I felt a tiny bit of pain in my right shoulder. I changed sides, and cranked out five on my left. Then I thought: "You have trained both arms equally these last nine months. You are not that much weaker in the right shoulder." Then I tried properly on the right and did four and a half. I am stronger than I was when I got injured.
