(shift eyes...) anyway... looks like im 2 weeks late to start the challenge. Whoops~ It dawned on me on sunday 17th, while i was in the Los Angeles book signing event and met Steve Kamb in person that I haven't done a challenge in forever... I sounded like a crazed fan-girl (I am) as I was talking with Steve as he signed my book and foaming at the mouth jibbering about stuff... HE WROTE ON MY BOOK: "MOMO! IT'S DANGEROUS OUT THERE! TAKE THIS!" ~ STEVE [Triforce drawing]... I was wearing a Legend of Zelda shirt. The parkour event was scary and exciting. truly the first ever moment in my entire life i was ever STARSTRUCK. @_@. I'm hoping my classmates will forgive my absence in forever (a couple years).. i think especially after receiving a magical hug from Steve, I am super compelled to get things rolling again for myself. to explain my absence.. I am back with a level head to get myself more involved with myself and avoid excuses. and i want to be an amazing addition to the team. As i am starting in the middle of the challenge, my goals are modest as i am also restarting my weightlifting/fitness regime.i gained a bit of weight (currently 145lb) and i lost muscle (FT school+work, car accident, sedentary...), so i won't be squatting 260+ lbs anytime soon... I think i am the most disappointed by this fact. but i'll be sure in next 10 or so challenges, that i build myself back to this and then some. My Challenge for the remainder is: DietHalf my plate is green veggieseat meatdrink more bone brothEat a piece of >70% dark chocolate whenever i have cravings to eat sweets that usually end up with more sweets and there i am at the drive-thru of mcdonalds. FitnessWalk during work @ breaktime - i get 2 x 10 min during my day other than lunch. @10:30am & @3:00pm.Zumba Friday evenings @5:30pm with my favorite Zumba instructorFollow chiropractor's request and lift weights gradually - only bar now to build into stronger workouts later... 1 hr @ gym after work - increase weights weeklystretch and foam roll - dude Level Up Your LifeDon't be late for anything I don't want to be late for or anything I wouldn't want anyone to be late to attend if the situation was on the other shoe - This includes: Work, Events that have specific start-end times and I say yes to those times unless i tell the host/hostess prior if i will be late or unattending, Best Friends' events because i don't want to be an ass. - Start by clocking in to work on time at exactly 8:00am. make it a game. Budget an international trip this year - Have a trip to Bahamas coming up late March and I want to spend the least $$ as possibleWork on communication like Writing heartfelt letters instead of talking to make things personal. Like with my mom... we misunderstand EASILY and cultural semantics is hard especially if we don't want to listen to each other... a lot of times when we talk we each take offense and get defensive. but that's not the case!Calculate my transferable GPA - I'm filling out my supplemental application forms to Universities!!! at the age of 30. I need to submit my GPAs and final transcripts by Feb.Daily food blog posts on tumblr. Keep it simple.Weekly video blog on youtube to talk about stuff, progress, and rants. Share my ideas with the world and level up my criticism and hate-taking ability/tolerancy. hopefully i'll make sense to someone. A lot of these will carry on into the next challenge. Definitely the one about school and GPA needs to be done ASAP. the video and food blog post is an idea im tossing around again because i used to do a foodblog for years and want to do something big. and random closing.. if i do stronglifts again at ground 0, it will take about a year to get my max back to 260lbs.
