MAIN QUEST: Lose Weight Feel Great!


To hit my goal range of 125-135 and do it in a healthy way!

Goals (diet and fitness related) that will help me achieve Main Quest:

 

I have managed to GAIN some weight back. I need to get back on track!! I am doing a Challenge Du Jour for workouts until we get our home gym set up, and then I am doing the Master's Hammer & Chisel, if anyone wants to join me in the Challenge Du Jour, here's the link: https://www.teambeac...ingRepId=558773. Update: I am now doing a month of CIZE!

 

1. #KickSugar - I have started cutting back on candy, because I was eating a LOT of candy at work daily, so I will continue that this challenge. If my secret pal at work brings me Dove chocolates, I am allowing myself ONE per day, but that's it. I am also switching from coffee with lots of sweetened cream to Bulletproof coffee.

2. #FitGirl - CIZE workout every day, with one rest day a week as an option

A: 22-24 days

3. #Hydrate - drink all the water!!! At least 3 (32 ounce) bottles a day!

Thanks guys!! So, I am not sure what happened, but I lost 3 lbs. So I need to change my stats above! 

 

Having my Bulletproof coffee this morning, so I thought I would share a couple recipes! I don't have any coconut oil/MCT so I am just using grass-fed butter.

I was down another pound this morning. I've been lazy today... I mean, I went to church for 2 hours, went and visited my MIL and grandmother-in-law for a while, came home and had lunch and crocheted a scarf I need to get done, spent some time working on a meal plan for a clean eating group I am running, and now I am here. I need to finish up grocery shopping tonight. I am waiting to find out if I got into Shaun T's CIZE group, because if I did, I will be doing CIZE for the next month instead of the Challenge Du Jour. But I have no idea when I will find out... so I have to decide if I go ahead and start CIZE or do CDJ until I find out. Oy!

Hey goal weight twin! Subbing to see how you do with cutting down on sugar, that's really tough!

 

Yay!! And it IS really tough!! Like coming off drugs (I have never been on drugs, but I am just assuming!!) and it's EVERYWHERE I look!! But I am still going strong!! No candy, no sweets!! 

 

Subbing again this challenge!  I am excited to see more of your art work.  Hopefully you find out which group you will do for workouts!  Cize looks fun =)

 

Yeah... I need to go draw something tonight!! Thanks for reminding me! ;) I still have no idea if I got into the group or not. He is not telling anyone yet, but I have decided to go ahead with a month of CIZE. I did the first workout today! I will TRY to post the video in my next post!!

awesome start!  What did you think of the Cize workout?

 

I love it!! But I love dancing!! I used to go to Zumba, plus my husband and I used to swing dance!! It's quite a workout as well, and gets me about 3000 steps on my Fitbit first thing in the morning! lol

 

That looks like a well rounded practice.

Hmmm... a Beachbody fan? I'm subbing. I've done 10 minute trainer, Insanity, P90X3, Focus T25 and 21 Day Fix for full rounds and have done parts of most of their other programs (or at least the older ones, I haven't tried Master and Chisel or Cize at all yet). How do you like Cize?? It looks fun!

 

A Beachbody fan and coach! :) I've done 21DF, Turbo Fire, Chalean Extreme, CDJ and CIZE, but the only one I did a full round of was 21DF. I am very fickle and I tend to get super bored... CDJ was awesome since it's a different workout every day, but I think I am ready to do a complete month of CIZE! After that I am doing 8 weeks of the Master's Hammer & Chisel. I already have the program, but I need to wait for some money to get my home gym set up!! Should be just a few weeks now! I really like CIZE! It's very dancy of course, but it's a good workout!

Aww thanks!! :) I still need to draw tonight. I had a rough day and I wanted to drown myself in a vat of chocolate peanut butter ice cream, but I didn't!! And I still haven't had ANY candy!! Woot!! I don't think I am going to hit my water goal today... but I did work out! 

 

Last day on this particular workout!! I am ready for the next one for sure!!

I like the eyes alot on this one. I personally hate drawing mouths myself. Wat I did learn is that shading can make a drawing pop :) keep up the practice. I need to get back into a daily practice myself
