Right this challenge will be more of the Tank Style level grinding but I also need to face up to the imminent new arrival and crack on with sorting stuff out.

1) Bodyweight workouts at least 8

2) Juarez Valley is still such a great way to work on my conditioning at home so I'll try and get 4 of these in again.

3) STRETCHES - Morning and Night - Runners lunge, and back stretches.

4) Baby Prep - We need less mess and more moses baskets !

5) Recover chairs.

Wow thanks, more followers.

 

I'm sure to some of you,  aiming to get 30 minutes exercise done twice a week, may seem a bit feeble, but I just keep finding it harder an harder to fit it all in, and rather than drop out of challenges altogether, I'd like to set myself at least something to aim for. If I manage to start hitting 3-4 per week, then I can raise the bar in March , but I'm expecting to be pretty tired that month, so we'll see.

Concurring with Deftona, everybody has their own goals.

 

What helps me a lot is to just start. Even if it's just for one exercise, halving the time, halving the difficulty. Just getting started. Sometimes that gets me a half workout, but most of the times i just kick out a full workout. Now since you are talking about fitting it in (and i'm assuming the problem here is time to fit it in), this might not be completely applicable but, well, it's the best advice I've got ;)

I don't think it's feeble at all. You've got so much going on at the moment with the baby due soon, I think it's great you are still working a fitness regimen into your schedule. Something is always better than nothing.

I completely agree. Sometimes I won't feel like going for a run so I tell myself I only need to go and do 20 minutes, but once I'm out there I'll often end up staying out longer. Of course if time is an issue then it's just a case of doing a little bit to keep the fire burning.

If 30 minutes twice a week is what works for you then I'm sure you'll crush it Tank style!  Especially with all the other work you'll have to do to get ready.

Thanks, but I bet it isn't.

I do also get my 2 hour basketball once a week which is why I'm a pleased that at least that has become routine.

Life presented me with a new goal for this challenge . The in-laws gave my wife some new material to recover the dining room chairs so now I've got 4 weeks and 4 chairs to recover. I'll add that to my sig when I get a minute.

Double update.

Got a small workout in on Tuesday. Definitely could tell how long it had been since my last. Pike pushups were a real struggle but I still managed 3x8. Also tested my Pullups and they've gone backwards. I might have to make some sort of reminder to keep the GnG going.

Basketball last night was just 3 of us and for less than an hour as the court was double booked for cricket (WTF !!??). This is still a mystery to us, and there were red scuff marks all over the floor afterwards. Only in England.

As a Texan, cricket is already an impenetrable mystery to me. The fact that people play it on basketball courts elevates me to whole new levels of bewilderment.

As a Texan, cricket is already an impenetrable mystery to me. The fact that people play it on basketball courts elevates me to whole new levels of bewilderment.

They had mats to roll out over the court, but they can't have covered much. Luckily we don't have a wooden floor or they really would have destroyed it.

Indoor nets already?

Yes. I hadn't realised that's what the nets were until last night. Thought they were for dividing up the court.

If this happens again they might move basketball somewhere else which would be a shame as I'm not sure Zach would be able to keep going if it's not walkable.
