Curl Brogo

Bendy Brogo Benches Bodyweight Brilliantly Bro! ... Part 2

Recommended Posts

In 2016, I will bench press my bodyweight <period>

Last challenge, I got some of my shit together so I can make progress on this.

Goal 1, Bench... Use it:

I'm gonna run a cycle of 5/3/1 with a bench, or bench assistance exercise every workout. I'll start with the deload week since I haven't lifted in like forever.

Goal 2, Breakfast Burritos in the Blue Buick:

I spend 45 min driving each way from work. Eating in the car will help me make time for the gym. So this goal is all about batch cooking and meal prep so I can save the time I have outside of work... especially car friendly food like sausage and eggs wrapped in tortillas.

edit: I'm not kidding, I do in fact drive a Blue Buick, same color as this font even.

Goal 3, Bendy reloaded:

I slacked off at this last challenge. I need to stretch (edit) and practice one yoga pose on two of my breaks at work. And do an NF Yoga routine once a week.

LUYL:

Blog: Write a draft of my introductory blog post.

There is some serious efficiency planning going on here :)

I used to like doing the same... until I bought a new car recently. Now I don't want to eat in the car. (I think this will last at least another 3 months... then I will go back to not caring again)

Good luck on your BW Bench Press journey! May the Gods of The Bench smile upon you.

On board for breakfast burritos, and general awesome. I may even reconcile myself to your guild assignment this time.

Still gonna give you shit about it, though ;)

Bam! Day one. I just woke up and am already productive. I called my webhost to verify my account, so I'll be able to put things on my website when I get them done.

I planned out my 5/3/1 cycle. I made a spreadsheet ages ago to make it easier, but everytime I run a cycle I want to change something around and it winds up taking an hour. It starts tomorrow with Bench and a training max of a measly 205, which is actually how a I programmed it a year ago when I ran my last cycle of 5/3/1.

Now I need to clean the garage and clean out my car.

Then batch cooking tonight.

Watch it or we'll trick you into joining us.

I think I'm safe. I rent so i have no space to build shit, I hate BW stuff and I typically avoid cardio.

Lol I may have completely and incorrectly stereotyped Ranger life.

are you planning on doing all the lifts in 5/3/1 style, or only benching?

Goal 2:  replace sausage with bacon and cheese and this is me every morning.

A complete and correct stereotyping of the Ranger Guild is "A.D.D. Fitness".

Bench:

45# 2(12)

65# 5

85# 5

105# 5

125# 5

95# 2(12), 2(7), 5

Kroc row:

45# ea 12, 2(8)

Was scrambling to get shit together to get in there. Just went in and got it done. About 25 min in. Very little rest, hence late sets dropped of drastically.

Between waking at 2pm and now, i have already consumed 140g of protein.

Matty likes the trolling and bitching; he'd never be able to handle the positivity of the ranger corps.

We are positive here, we'll positively tell you how much you need to improve and how much gains you lost running around the building.
