SpecialSundae Posted February 10, 2016 Author Report Share Posted February 10, 2016 I got to squat last night. Not sure if I was quite ready. I'm just going to have to wait and see! Tuesday 9/2: BW: 65.6kg (FFS, weight stop playing silly buggers, I'm looking leaner why can't you just buggering well go down!) Front squats: 15kg x10x2 Hang clean: 15kg x5x2 20kg x5x2 25kg x5x2 30kg x5, x3 Paused box squats: (20kg x10) (40kg x10) Bad girl machine: 41kg x12 46kg x12 50kg x12x3 (decided not to count the first set at 41kg because they were insultingly easy) Paused box squats: (60kg x5) 80kg x5x5 Bum feeling rather iffy. Still can't decide if it is seriously iffy or not. Romanian deadlifts: (40kg x5) 60kg x5x5 Because glute was feeling iffy, scaled the weight back. It would feel a bit twingey after each set but settle down in about 30 seconds. Barbell roll-outs s/s with 60kg hip thrusts: x10x3 Couldn't find the bar tampon/pussy pad so using a rolled up mat to protect my hips. Glute still feeling a wee bit iffy. Hyperextensions: x10x3 Glute felt a bit better after these. I'll see how I feel over the next few days and see what Marc says about the iffyness. It's slightly painful but it was also slightly painful after the first day last week and then settled down the second time. Sometimes I wish I could post pictures of my ass when it's looking really pretty without looking like a total tart. It was looking really good yesterday but kinda flat once I put shorts on (no idea why). Quote Link to comment

My dad has a few Mavis Enderbys (but they're no longer my mum's problem). I am finding them very amusing! I really want a cleaner as well, but a.) I'm broke b.) Don't stop.It's more that the cleaner comes in and cleans the counters, mops the floors, scrubs the bathrooms, etc, and they can't do that if our dishes, toys, and dirty laundry are still all over the place. As much as a pain in the ass as it is to scramble to get everything picked up (as it is every week), it at least forces us to do it.
