A Ranger Respawns

I was chasing down dinner when I got sidetracked, fell into a ravine, and was eaten by beasts. Thankfully I have respawned and I am ready to fight once again.


 


Main Quest: Fat Loss, My jerkins are too tight!!


 


Fit into my cargo pants


 


 


How?


 


 1. Weight training at least 4x a week- Make this into a habit again. I have been going well, this is my second week.


 


2. Follow my macros. I am currently tracking macros and it is working very well. Macros are subject to change based on results.


 


3. Cardio 2x HIIT a week, walking the rest of the days of the week. I started with 5 min and am slowly adding a little more time each week. I recently hurt both of my feet, ( I don't really know how) and don't want to get injured again

Hi Terra! Thanks, I had the worst one x rayed thinking it was fractured but then it got better so I think its just some sort of soft tissue damage?  Ooh I wish you luck on the next surgery. :cheerful: :cheerful:

 

 

 

I had an excellent week last week. getting my daily habits down with the help of a site called Habitica. I am obsessed with getting my dailies done and being consistent, leveling up my little character. Yay!

 

 

I started watching a new series last night called The Shannara Chronicles, has anyone read the books? So far I love the series, I can overlook a little bit of cheese because elves and druids and its really pretty. :)

 

 

 

This past year both my mom and grandma were diagnosed with cancer. My grandma passed away on Dec 23 and my mom is stage 4 and going through aggressive chemo.

I feel like I am finally in a place to deal with myself, and focus on talking to my mom as much as possible. So glad I called my grandma as much as I did. So thats where I have been this year, and I Ate ALL the feelings.

 

Despite all of that I am feeling positive and hopeful.

I'm glad you found the progress bar info!  Those are fun.  

 

Really sorry to hear about your family and the cancer attacks.  That stuff is a beast.  But its good you're in a place to take care of yourself.  That is important.

Things are going well. I did legs last night. I hate lunges.

 

I am using Habitica.com to help me with my daily habits. It goes perfect with nerd-fitness. You have a little character that gets levels when you complete your daily ahbits and if you miss you get dealt damage. If you party up with someone all your daily habits damage the boss and if anyone misses it damages the whole party. Pretty fun. I have not missed any of my dailies, which means I have been ultra productive! :D

 

Nutrition is on point and I signed up for a year long course for  evidence based coaching for physique and power lifting athletes with Eric Helms and Dr. Mike Zourdos.

I have used Habitica (I think it used to be HabitRPG) and I liked it too.  I agree that it can go well with the nerdfitness goals.  I need to go back and check on my little guy to see if he is dead.

I think you're doing well with straightforward goals. Fitness doesn't have to be quantum physics.

 

Habitica sounds interesting. I've dabbled with Fitocracy in the past. Anything you could say to someone on the fence regarding getting it or not?

Hi Jomungand! Thanks! Habitica is free! You set up your own daily habits. I think its really motivating, I have done so many thing in the last week, because I had to check it off my list or I would lose health, and I have been excited to level up! You get eggs and hatching potions which make all kinds of different pets, armor too, and mounts! Dragon Mounts! So it just seems like a game rather then some crap I HAVE to do.

 

DO IT!! There is an app, but is mainly to check off your dailies when you are away from the computer, there a lot of things you can't see on the app. There. Does that help? :P
