wildross
Done and dusted. Weighed in at 267# this morning, continuing a nice slow downward trend towards 264 by 3/20 Squats 205,210,213PR or 451,462,468.6Bench 155,160,166 PR or 341,352,365.2Deadlift 200 or 440# I'll post the videos later. The squat PR was a close thing. The bench was easy. I put 170Kg on the bar, then talked myself out of a 22# jump between attempts 2 and 3. Could have had it. The deadlift is the most I've pulled outside of a competition, so it's actually a gym PR (I always pull more in 'real' competitions). Very happy with this. 4 Quote Warriors don't count reps and sets. SpecialSundae
Knee has been screwy so wound up doing the powerlifting side of things and not weightlifting. Very, very conservative on squat and deadlift but only mildly so on bench. Blame Jaymul, mmmkay! BW: 63kg Squat: 105kg 110kg 115kg Massively sub maximal but babying both my glute and knee. Bench: 75kg 77.5kg X (no third attempt) Actually comes out as a Wilks PB, I think. Might have had 80kg but didn't want to risk it and get a bollocksing from coach. Deadlift: 110kg 117.5kg 122.5kg Not bad given I haven't gone over 102.5kg since early December and haven't deadlifted at all in almost 6 weeks. 3 Quote Link to comment

Emerald_Dragonfly
Completed my attempts this morning! A bit of a mixed bag, but overall I am satisfied. Rounded here to the nearest whole Kg, though a bit more exact on the spreadsheet. Squat: 79, 84, 88This was quite easy (yay!) and boosted my confidence for the rest. Bench:52, 57, 61xOvershot the last one - dreams of big plates led me down the ego path. I allllllmost had it. But not quite. Happy with this. DL:88x, 88, 93Had a strange wonky double hitch in the first one, so I redlighted myself and attempted it again for the second lift. A tiny bit disappointed in this until I realized that I am probably not fully recovered from Thursdays DL. So...lesson learned - next time remember to deload properly! quilaho
Alright, so here goes (in Yankee pounds here)... Weight 267SQ 295 315 335BP 160 180 200DL 235 255 275 Not bad for my first time around. I am still on linear progression and started with what my next workout would be. I added 20 on each and completed them all. My DL is week, compared to my other weights. It has to do with falling off the program a few times and deloading 50% when coming back on each time. It got the ratios wacked and I did not know enough at the time to even realize it. Anyhow, at 20# increase per (and could have gone more) I should have capacity still to develop linearly. I took my wife and 12 year old son to the Y to spot for me. I put the bar on end on the floor and have my son steady it while I move the supports. He sways it a little and says ,,,This thing is heavy. You're going to put more weight on it and lift it?Umm ... yeah ... a lot more weight. He's never seen me lift. When we're done i ask him ...So, are you impressed?Uhhh ... Yeah! It's always nice to be someone's idol. 4 Quote Challenges: Current:Quilaho's L1 ChallengeBattle Log:Q's Warrior PathBodySpace | MyFitnessPalLinkedIn | Twitter | FacebookPlease send me a message here at NF if you are going to send a request Link to comment
GreenMatt
Mixed feelings from me - despite being a little heavier (82 kg) than this time last year, which was the last time I posted virtual powerlifting numbers, I came in lower on squat and deadlift. This wasn't at all a surprise - until recently I had been running/doing fairly light weights and high reps - but still a bit disappointing once I'd finished. At least it gives me a good baseline to work from now that I have decided to get back into powerlifting style gym work! Squat: 115 kgDeadlift: 130 kgBench: 80 kg Needs work! Nonetheless:BW 76SQ: 115 / 120 / 125 (New PR)BP: 65 / 70 / 75x (same as previous PR)DL: x / x / x (No attempt) SQ felt quite good with the belt, could have gone heavier. Was feeling some muscles in the back but squatting went ok. Hit the 3 weights i set out with a little bit left in the tank.BP: This one felt about the same as last time, i did change my form recently, so hopefully this allows for some growth.DL: Pain in the back was really hindering the DL, my PR is 140, i called it quits after 110 during warmup, back was just not happy. Don't just let the weight go. Quoting SS from her RT[F]M thread: "Someone said I could drop my deadlifts, why did that get three reds?"
