So I'm supposed to be working, but I don't feel like it. So here I am, updating a new challenge thread.

 

Hi, I'm Sylvaa, one of your Adventurer Ambassadors! This means that someone thought I could impart wisdom and guidance on newcomers.

So my first Spartan of the year, the Ohio Beast, is coming up and I am not as prepared as I want to be. I started a new workout program two weeks ago and will continue through the rest of the challenge. 

 

Goals:

 

Strength training 3 x per week. This is currently M - W - Sa

 

Running at least 10 miles per week. This is Tu - F - Su

 

Just 3 work things. This is ongoing M through F to keep me caught up and from getting overwhelmed.

 

Just 3 school things. I've got two classes to finish through the end of the challenge.

 

Food / Macro tracking. 

 

I've got my spreadsheet link in my signature.

 

One last goal: I feel that the Adventurer's guild was somewhat.... lacking last challenge. So I want to bring it back. My goal is to be more involved in my fellow Adventurer's threads and help with camaraderie.

Okay, first of all, the dog picture is hilarious. I've got a puppy who forgets she is too big to be a lapdog, so we've definitely had this happen in our house.

 

Second of all, thanks.  :redface: I really love being here and getting to meet everyone and be a part of the community and I joke about it, but I love being able to help and support people. The thing is, I've been at different points on the journey myself, so I get what people go through. I think that is my favorite part of this forum - that your support come from people who have been in your shoes.

Goblet Squats / Dead Hangs

I then ate Thai for dinner; chicken satay and drunken noodles. The carbs put me over my limit, but I'm going to allow it. I actually order my food before I'm done working out so I can eat as soon as I'm done (I'm pretty sneaky that way). The place I order it from makes their own noodles and adds a ton of veggies. Fitbit has my food at:

 

1492 calories 140.3 C / 114.8 P / 44.6 F 

 

I'm pretty sure it's higher than that, so I'm not worried about being under what I'm supposed to be eating at (1750 ish).
