So I have recently joined this forum and website and am looking forward to continuing getting into shape. Here are my challenge goals!!


Diet

  • Swap out one soda per day with water
  • Eat a vegetable with one meal every day

Fitness

  • Do at least 10 minutes of yoga everyday
  • Bodyweight Circuit at least 2x per week

Level Up Your Life

  • 5 minutes meditation daily
  • Keep a clean house for the month

Grading: All challenges will use the following grading scale.
90% - 100% - A
80% - 89% - B
70% - 79% - C
60% - 69% - D
0% - 59% - F


End of challenge goals

  • 25 pushups,1 minute plank
  • Drinking up to 3 bottles of water a day
  • 20 minute meditation
  • Like 6

Well I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old so its never going to be as clean as I want. Mainly as long as over 85% of my house is clean. Meaning laundry is done, toys are picked up, dishes have been done, beds made, kitchen swept and mopped and the rest of the house has been vacuumed.

W00t!!  Sounds like a good checklist and an impressive goal.  I only had one daughter, and I swear the house was only CLEAN for Sunday afternoon.

In the two-ish years I've been on the forums one very important thing has made itself clear to me. You get out of it what you put in! Saying that, I encourage you to seek out a couple other members here and follow along with them and offer support when and where you can, together we are all stronger!

I had to change my yoga goal, 30 minutes is a little more difficult for my first challenge lol

The house cleaning may go smoother than anticipated, we might be moving :D

Going okay so far. The house cleaning is becoming the more difficult of my challenges. Meditation is going really great, might start going for 10 minutes now. I missed a week of fitness classes but I'm determined to make them up this week. If I can't make it to the local studio I plan on doing some sort of a work out here at home.

Thought I'd post another update. Yoga is going a bit less than I'd like. I haven't gotten the chance to do it everyday and that makes me a bit sad with myself. The bodyweight circuits are going pretty dang good though. I did a 45 minute Tabata workout yesterday, then went to the gym with my friend and did another 30 minute workout. I'm extremely sore today lol. I plan on getting at least 30 minutes of yoga done today, I'm definitely going to need all the extra stretching.

 

The water intake is going really well. I've managed to get in at least two bottles a day so far, hope to make it more here soon.

Meditation is going good as well. I've gone from 5 minutes up to at least 10 so far.

Thanks :D I'm a bit angry that the house I was hoping to get has already been snagged by someone else. But I'm looking into another one s bit closer to where I'm at now. Which means I'd still be closer to the fitness studio lol
