Wow, that's a huge life change that's coming up really fast. It sounds like it will be a good thing for your family overall, but at the same time, you're grieving a little over the loss of your childhood home. That's totally normal and expected... and certainly something that will take some time to process and come to grips with. My own experience in losing my childhood home was kind of weird, because technically my parents still live in it. But when I went to college, they rented out the house and lived out of the country for a few years. When they came back, they got almost entirely new furniture, new carpets, new paint on the walls. My old room is used for something else now. Whenever I'm over there, it's a very surreal experience, because occasionally I'll see an old clock or something that was there when I was a kid, and it's like seeing a ghost peeking out through a stranger's face. For me, going to college ended up being a complete and definite end to my childhood, because I literally had no home to return to. I wonder if you're feeling a bit of the same? That you're leaving your childhood behind and facing something new and unknown? Even though you're struggling with it now, I know that you are very strong. Take as long as you need to work through how you're feeling, but I know you will eventually come out the other side, stronger than ever. Thought I'd try to start updating again in this last week of the challenge We've been doing a lot of cleaning around the house, so that's been the main goal at the moment. I'd say I'm pretty steadily at 5 workouts a week, some weeks have been every day. And I do always feel better after exercise, it's really the most immediate form of depression relief I have at the moment. I'm already thinking about next challenge, mainly that I want it to be as simple as possible. Focus on the key changes or habits I can do to make my life better and more pleasant. I need to re-focus on meditation I think, it makes everything else better/easier. I think posting here every day will probably be a part of it too. I need to find a way to keep up with everyone's threads and not get overwhelmed (which is unfortunately easy at the moment because of all the other stuff going on in my life). But I do know that checking in with everyone and my own thread does help my happiness a lot. You guys always put me in a better mood <333. I'm trying to return to regular forum-ing so I should be around more Thanks to all of you again for the sweet, wonderful, and supportive messages over the past couple of weeks.
