What does 6k calories a day look like, I cannot wrap my head around this? Sounds like mostly waffles?

 

One day this challenge, I'll do my day in food. I eat a fuck of a lot. It's not hard for me to eat a pound and a half of meat plus a similar weight in potatoes. So that's around 1500-2000 calories right there. And that's just a lunch :) Sometimes for dinner I'll get 60-70 sushi rolls.

"Mobility": lacrosse ball and foam roller. Couple minutes on back, about a half hour hips and glutes. So much tension bled out of them tonight.

Workout 2 - lower power (snow day with)

Squats: 3x5 @ 335

Front squats: 10@135, 3x10 @ 155

RDLs: 4x10 @ 155 (front of foot elevated)

Walking lines: 4x30 steps w/40 lb dbs

Didn't feel like driving to the gym so I worked out at home. Obviously that limited me to bar and dumbbell work, so I got punishment lunges.

For the first time in a really long time, a workout felt good. It felt really good. I was even dancing between sets again good. I haven't done that in a really long time. I was banging out those squats like a cheap hooker on a Friday night.

Walking lunges fucking suck though. I hate cardio.

Lol I have that picture of Flex saved on my phone for when I do cardio. A reminder that no matter how bad I feel, I don't feel like that and he was just walking.

 

I usually pull teh Kirby gif out when I talk about myself fooding.

But I should note that both times I ate 100 pieces plus (and tempura, and sashimi and a bit of a few other entree stuffs) I didn't puke. No sushi allergy discovered here yet.

But it was still just walking. Gotta get that cardio up if you can't even walk and not get winded brah ;)

Day 2 Recap

 

I mean it wasn't bad.

 

Mobility - Oh my god yes. Sometimes I cried, other times I came, but the end result was the same: My hips are looser than my ex right now. It feels great. 

Workout - Killed it. I felt kinda tense after the walking lunges last night, but still.

Food - Eh. Here we go. Got close enough to 5k so a pass on the daily even though I was looking more for 6. I finished at ~4740

 

Day 3 Plan

 

I mean, technically it's a rest day, but I'm gonna do a rest day workout. Nothing fancy. Bit of bodyweight stuff to add some lubrication to my joints and a fucking TON of mobility. 

 

50 Pullups

100 Pushups

 

I'll probably do them circuit style with some ab work in between sets. Holding plank or some mountain climbers. Something that reinforces core stability.

I have a rule: I don't make people do things that I don't or won't do myself. And I make lots of people do lots of waking lunges. They're getting to be my favorite

So I don't have a level up your life goal. Except I do! Kinda.

 

Ease back into shit: I'm gonna pick something new each week to restart. But it's a restart. It's not a something I do the whole week so I've gotta keep it going the rest of the challenge (and beyond!) Since this is only a half-week, I'm gonna start next week. So it'll just be 3 habits I'm easing myself into. BUT! This week I'm gonna start (and finish probably) reading Becoming a Supple Leopard again. I'm doing a fuckton of supplizing again, so it'll be nice to at least read over all the mobilizations I could be doing but aren't because I forgot they exist. 

 

"Ninja Edit": I (unsurprisingly if you know me) broke my laptop again. I've gotten into photography recently and have a bazillion pictures that I had taken and edited in Lightroom that are just gone now. Yay \o/ Anyway, it's giving me a chance to re-edit a bunch of pictures. Not sure how I feel about this one quite yet, but I think it's almost there... Picture's kinda large. It's the full 6000x4000. Lol.

Calories: 4100. Not good but not terrible.

No plan. Gonna keep it light cause I'm doing the squat challenge tomorrow. Probably gonna do nightmare mode. Legs have been feeling not bad. Let's see if I can fix that.

Bar rows: 4x20@135 (2 supinated, 2 pronated)

Dumbbell rows: 3x15@40

Straight arm pulldowns: 3x10@60

OHP: 4X10 @ 85

Shoulder didn't ache, but it didn't feel tip top so I stopped.

Mobility: did a few minutes on the foam roller.

Calories: 4053. Still having problems. maybe this weekend?
