1st Challenge for The Scarlet Pimpernel

Challenge completed!

 

I met all of my main goals this week. Didn't do so well with some of the goals I had aimed for beyond those, but I guess that's a fight for next challenge. I also down a tiny bit on the scale today! Unexpected, but welcome! After a week like this not going up is definitely a win.

 

I hope I can push myself even more next challenge, and wish you all success in the future as well!

I'm not sure if the same thing would work for you, but maybe you could switch from 2 days a week to one paleo meal each day or no sugar-snacking at all and then move into your paleo meals? Just something that allows you to make gradual progress each day. Then you can report in daily too and get encouragement - another thing that makes a big difference for me.

 

That's interesting about the daily goals! I've actually deliberately avoided daily goals, because along with my on/off nature, I have an unfortunate tendency to give up if I fail. So if I have a goal to do something every day, and then miss a day early in the week (as I inevitably do), I tend to not get back on track for the rest of the week. The nice thing with weekly goals is I can plan in advance "I have this activity on Thursday that will make it hard to complete my goal, so I'll make sure to do it on Wednesday".

 

The daily reporting is a good idea though, I think I'll try to incorporate that into next challenge. I'm expanding some of my goals, so there should definitely be something I need to do each day.

Yes, I think I'm going to join the assassins!

 

I'm not very assassin-like yet, but that's what I'm aiming for and it looks like you guys have a lot of fun challenges.
