Miss Marissa: Dawn of Justice!!!

I'm not sure what I'm seeking justice for, I just felt that I could not ignore the fact that Batman v. Superman comes out on the very last day of this challenge.

Really I just couldn't think of a good thread title.

 

I'm going to continue to post my workouts in my BATTLE LOG and not here, so if you should follow that if you want lifting goodness.

 
1) GET FAT
My nutrition is all over the place. If you followed me last challenge, you know that this is a thing I've been struggling with.
My challenge is finding BALANCE between tracking compulsively, yet still eating enough to fuel my body and my workouts. If I don't track, I don't eat enough or eat in proper ratios. Especially fat, I am ALWAYS low on fat, it's just so much easier to eat proteins and carbs! I also binge eat, so my calories will vary from 1400- 3100 over the course of a week; which is unhealthy, inconsistent and unsustainable!
 
So this challenge I'm going to focus on one teeny tiny aspect of this. The weekend. My typical weekend looks something like this: wake up and eat breakfast (sometimes a shake, sometimes cereal or toast, sometimes pancakes, sometimes eggs and bacon, etc.), get busy doing stuff and forget to eat all day, hit 8pm and night and realize I am wildly starving so I order pizza and eat the whole thing, plus ice cream and cookies, washed down with beer.
 
Weekends! Each weekend day eat at least one shake and one home-cooked, healthy meal containing a protein, a fat and a carb.
8 weekend days this challenge so I'm aiming for 8/8!!!
I am going to note, my birthday is March 12 and I already have plans to visit my brother and we will be eating out lunch and dinner. I'm going to say on this day I should have my shake for breakfast and then make either lunch or dinner resemble something healthy (protein, veggies, starch) If I do that, it will be considered a pass.
 
2) GET BIG
This is a rollover goal from last challenge. I've started taking creatine, but I still haven't built it as a regular habit. 
 
Take ~5g creatine daily.
 
3) 20 seconds of courage
After the persuasion of @Raptron I did some research and there is a gymnastics gym here! And they offer adult classes that start next week! So this is the "smash the button, do the thing" goal. DON'T WORRY WARRIORS! I'm not going anywhere.
 
Week 1: sign up for classes
Weeks 2-4: go to class, learn, try to enjoy myself and not be embarrassed at my serious lack of flexibility and coordination
 
Life Goals for this year will be COMPOUNDING as appropriate. The idea is to produce HABITS!
 
1) Don't be a hoodrat (challenge 1)
Look fabulous. Take selfies. Post here for everyone's pleasure.
 
2) Don't get too fat (challenge 2)
Walk to work. 1x/week minimum. Sunshine, tea, relaxation. 
 
3) Read (challenge 3)
I was doing really good at this prior to the move, but I just feel like I haven't had time? But in reality it just hasn't been a priority. I miss reading actual books.
The goal is to finish the two books I'm currently reading by the end of this challenge. One of those is Steve's book! Level Up Your Life! The second is The Lone Drow which I feel like I've been reading forever.
I'm going to attempt to make this a SMART goal by having three days a week of dedicated reading time! Bonus if I compound that with cardio time lol

15 years ago I would have proposed at this sentence alone.  Now more than 2 slices of pizza causes me to lay on the couch for an hour.  and American beer is just kind of...well...meh.  Never get old MM!

Way back in the 1990's I read a joke that kind of reads like:

 

Canadians - Drink strong pissy tasting beer.

Americans - Drink weak pissy tasting beer.

English - Drink warm beery tasting piss.

Aussies - Drink anything with alcohol in it.

 

(It was a list of jokes to "insult" the major English-speaking cultures.)

 

But that was way back.  It's the 21st Century now, and things are different.  The beer market is much more open.
