Week 2 Report Card

For some reason, the "edit post" option is playing funny buggers this morning, so the spreadsheet is going here instead of Post #2 in this thread.

 

So, week 2 was a success. Almost made up the cross-trainer calorie gap, despite sticking to just my planned 3 workouts. Just about scraped by the calorie goal. A couple of needlessly high days meant I had to take a couple of low days to balance it out. A win is a win is a win. What else have I learned this week? I find it much easier to keep the water intake up at work than I do at home. I suspect the prime reason for this is that I like to get away from my desk and wander off to the water cooler. Time just seems to get away from me when I'm at home.

 

It's a cool, crisp, beautifully clear morning here. This is my favourite time of the year, I love these mornings. It also means that the lunchtime walk season is almost upon us again, and I can rack up an extra 8-10 miles of walking each week, weather permitting.

 

In other news, I mentioned last challenge (I think) that Casa de SGFS is soon to have a new kitchen. That work officially starts next Friday, 22nd. I'll get before and after pics.

Jup, several things seem to be wonky with the forums right now. I can't quote highlighted parts of a post anymore (which makes me very sad).

Agreed on all counts.  Water (intake and output ;) ) is the primary mode of stretching my legs periodically through the work day.  When I'm home I'm usually already doing things, but I've been keeping a water bottle nearby to help with my intake.  Even so, I usually get most of my Sat-Sun water at meal times.

Week 3 Day 1 - Buff Chews Chocolate... uh... Chamefully. Shut up.

Rest day yesterday, so not a tremendous amount to report. Managed 3.5 litres of water, and kept my calories reasonable despite accidentally faceholing a KitKat Chunky.

 

Okay, so it wasn't an accident. I regret nothing.

 

Tonight is a gym night. This is good. I shall pick up many heavy things and put them back down again. Just finished the first draft of my next challenge and built the spreadsheet to go with it. I might tweak it again nearer the time, but it's pretty much good to go. Just need to come up with a title and theme, since it'll be my tenth.

Week 3 Day 3: The Missing Floppies

Adulting things have meant this week has been a bust so far, at least in terms of workouts. The plan is to hit it tonight, tomorrow and Saturday to get my three for the week. Not how I'd planned it, but it is what it is. Food tracking is still working well, and I'm finding it easier to get through the water.

 

Still waiting on inspiration tweaking my nipples with a title and theme for "SomeGuyFromScotland X:...."
