CHICKEN PUSSY!

I love this film so so much! I once met a man in a bar that I went over to tell him he looked like Sex Machine from this movie just as he was on his way to tell me I looked like Juliette Lewis' character from this movie.

(I don't, btw. But he TOTALLY did)

I think that's what he thought too. Unfortunately for him, he was at least twice my age and ugly.

HEYYYYYY!

Workout 1 of 3 done.

3.2 litres of water consumed.

Lidl have stuffed vine leaves back in stock. And basil-infused halloumi. It would be rude of me to pass up such an opportunity. So I didn't.

Excelsior!

1100 calories !? Is that taking exercise into account or is that straight not eating ? Well done either way.

Week 4 Day 1

17852-leisure-suit-larry-1-in-the-land-o

"CPU."

So, this will be a challenging end to... uhh... the challenge. The work begins on my kitchen on Friday morning, so this week is going to be a bit full-on as I prepare for it. On the plus side, I've got a week and a bit off work while it's happening. That said, I'm going to stick to my plan as much as I can. Tonight, I've got a pre-arranged curry night with the men from church, so that'll be a last bit of R&R before the carnage commences. SWFS is out tomorrow night, so I'll be home doing some more prep work around the house (there's some minor electrical work going on in every room in the house as part of the work), and I'm shifting my regular Thursday night workout to allow me to get the remainder of the kitchen stuff packed up. Work is scheduled to start 7.30am on Friday. The plan right now is to hit the gym Friday night and Saturday evening to get my three for the week. Foodwise, it's going to have to be played by ear, depending on the state of work at any given time. Worst case scenario, I'll be keeping my George Foreman grill and my microwave on hand.

Good workout last night. I'm enjoying being back in amongst the weights.

I've hit on a reasonably good plan to keep the water intake up during the week, since I'm still finding it easier to do it then as opposed to the weekend. I've been having 3 x 0.5 litre glasses of water while I get ready for work, which gives me a head start on the day (and has cut my coffee intake down as a by-product), and my drinking bottle at work is 0.85 litres. Two trips to the water cooler with that during my work day, and I'm at 3.2 before I even get home at night.

Of course, there is also a downside. When you drink 1.5 litres of water before you leave the house, you better hope there's not a traffic jam on the way to work. :-)

A new kitchen, so exiting!

And you can cook about everything in the microwave. Mugcakes for example ;)

Good luck!  I took spring/summer 2014 to remodel my kitchen.  We got pretty creative with our cooking--you can do more things than you'd ever dream in a Crock Pot or on your charcoal grill. :D

Thanks. :)  It was my favorite part of the house.  It made no sense to have the breakfast nook when the dining room was literally right next to it, and I always hated the fridge being right next to the range.  I spent a few years designing my remodel projects, and I planned this as a mega kitchen where two or three people could all cook together and it worked beautifully.  The actual demoltion and construction went from June 15th to September 1st with a two-week vacation break in the middle, conveniently timed to allow the paint to fully cure before setting cabinets.  I did everything myself except for the sheet flooring--MFG only helped with the corner wall cabinets (since I preassembled them prior to hanging) and the large countertop.  I hope the new owners like the space as much as I did.

Thay is a nice kitchen. Of course, as Terah said, here in europe our kitchens are more compact

I'd give up a good portion of my living room for a bombass kitchen though. It's what is making house hunting so hard!

Of course with the more compact kitchen you don't accumulate so much crap either.

We have House Hunters International on tv in the US and it's pretty cool how different the living styles are between the US and Europe. Our kitchen is about the size of DFG's (although not as nice! We haven't updated it yet) and I don't know how I would function with a smaller one. I second remodel pictures!
