I did nothing today. Oops? Even my PT stuff--did stretches but not exercises. Terribad. Good thing it's not a school night so the rum & coke I'm drinking doesn't subtract points from my week.

Haircut last night. Stylist is out on maternity leave so had a substitute which was fine but this morning I am moreBlonde than I expected to be. Yikes. It didn't seem quite so bright last night.

 

My hair is styled today, but since that's just leftover from last night's cut, it doesn't quite count.

It has been frigid here. It's currently ice-balling (not quite snow, not quite hail, not quite sleet) outside. All my spring clothing shuffling will likely have to wait.

 

 

Looking at my spreadsheet, I am not doing so hot at many things. That's kind of the point of the list, though. It's not about doing everything all the time. It's about comparing week to week such that I can keep improving overall. It's also interesting to see what things are important or closer to being a habit, vs. which things are sort of not even on my radar. I don't consul the list each morning to create a task list. Instead, I go about my day, living my life, then assess a day or two later and see where I am. It's giving me an interesting baseline of where my life is Right Now, so I can see very clearly where my priorities lie. For example--protein. I know I'm low. It's not currently a priority right now, though, as I'm not even tracking my food to see where I rank. Interesting stuff.

Shoulder is sore today. Not a hot, inflamed soreness but a kind of cold narrow ache. I realize that makes no sense. Not DOMS from Monday's PT, but maybe some remnant localized inflammation from the manual work my PT put in on my biceps tendon? It's coming and going in varying waves of intensity but it was enough to wake me up in the middle of the night last night. :(

 

On the plus side, my PT stuff is making me much more aware of my posture.  I don't always have great posture, but at least I'm noticing more often when i don't.

No, it definitely makes sense. Aww at it interrupting your sleep. :(

I think any kind of color processing seriously REQUIRES something like knitting!

I'm glad it feels better today, for sure!

 

I need to figure out where to fit in actual exercise in my current schedule. I'll probably get something in tonight, but once/week doesn't do much for me, unfortunately.

Yeah, blocking out the time can be the hardest part, but I'm sure you can find space! I actually lol'd about making a cat bed in a hair salon. I love it.

Didn't work out yesterday.

Didn't do PT either.

 

The only thing I did manage to do was finish the cat bed I was knitting. And then the cats refused to sit in it.

 

 

sigh.

 

 

 

 

I have a giant case of the nopes with a side of fuckitall. I'm starting to feel gross from the non-working out and yet can't care enough to make myself do anything about it.

I bought a cat bed for my cat a while ago and she never used it. >.< You can try putting treats or catnip in it to entice them to lay in it. *shrugs* You know how cats are...
