Challenge update:

I've decided that my little-red-book makes recording workouts in this thread kind of pointless (and a bit boring :P). Which means I'm going to fail out of this challenge, but that's ok. I'm really excited about the next stage of my fitness strategy(wrong term?), I'll be spending this week coming up with a new workout plan and sorting out my next challenge.

I'll still update for hand balancing and Chinups. I just won't be levelling up this time.

I guess that's true. The challenge is back on! :P

 

Mid week update:

think Crow pose is coming along. Sometimes I get into position and fall out right away, others I can hold for a solid 8-10 seconds.

No progress on the Chinup amrap but I did Pullups in today's workout for the first time in about a month and got to 6, which is an improvement. I also feel much stronger with lifting myself up than ever. 

 

Just remembered I said I'd get a crow  pose picture/video up this challenge.. I'll get one on Saturday for my wrap up.

I'm with Snow Owl, it's the fitness that counts, not how/where you track it :)

 

8-10 seconds on the crow sounds awesome! I think that everyone falls out sometimes (or at least that's what I'm telling myself, cause I do it all the time).

April Challenge Wrap Up

It's been a funny challenge this time, I haven't updated as much as usual or been as motivated as I have been in previous challenges. 

 

Hand Balancing

Giving myself 75% for this, I missed a fair few days but did make improvements. Here's a hastily shot video made just as it started to rain. Excuse the bad angle, knobbly knees, and weird tongue movements :P.

Please feel free to offer some critique :)

 

Force Push(ups)

Smashed this one. Really happy with my progress over the last few months, giving myself 100% for this one.

 

Force Pull

Just in time for the wrap up I got a set of 8 Chin-ups during today's workout. As the initial goal was to improve by 4 reps, and I got 2, the grade will be 50%.

 

Holocron

So I guess I get 100% for this? Switched from using challenge thread to using a notebook for tracking, but everything was tracked nonetheless.

 

Next month I'm shaking things up a bit and shifting my focus onto other things, I think it'll be my first challenge without a pushup goal!
