Wufkar
Alright so. I'm officially in the perma-broke category. Time to shut up and work around it. What this means is that my medial sesamoid bone is never healing back together, only option is a surgery which would have me zero weight-bearing for 3 weeks, and 3 months rehab. I don't wanna do that right now, and it's time to stop making excuses about it. Lots of blah blah, woe is me because frankly walking hurt a lot. That rut is hard to get out of, but I'm going to do it. wildross also issued me a long-term challenge that I'm not sure is doable, but we'll target it. State of Texas Single Lift bench record at 72kg/158lbs, which is 90kg/198lbs. That's not happening this challenge cycle but it is a long-term. Assuming Spezzy doesn't take it in which case I might have to drop to 63kg/138lbs. Here's the plan: -Eat Paleo, and actually eat using the RP Strength templates -Go to the gym 3 times per week, lift shit. put it back down. -Build my life routine again. i.e, sleep, read, clean. This morning I was 175.4# but I'll weigh again on the 4th as I had a drink and tacos with Chammy last night. Water weight sticks around, yo. Side note, basically will be a push/pull bro for a while. I'm not planning on competing single lift bench only USAPL ever - so it's all yours I would potentially do a push pull or a full meet, though considering moving away from USAPL for a while all together. And the single lift only counts for the record if that's the division you enter in, not if you do the full meet. Wufkar
Did you know that your standard eye exam can detect things like breast cancer, melanoma, thyroid disease, brain tumors, colon polyps and lung cancer? This is what metastasized breast cancer looks like during an exam: compared to a healthy eye: I wish I could have taken pictures of the actual images my eye doctor showed me, she'd saved quite a few including carcinoma, and lung cancer. Another random factoid about eyes, they're actually brain tissue. In fact, they're the only part of the Central Nervous System that can be seen visually without invasive measures. Your brains are not entirely contained! Whaaa? side note, my eye exam looked more like the lower image, except the tiniest bit stretched as I'm a bit near sighted. 1 Quote Current Challenge: Wufkar Stops Making Excuses ------------------------------------------------------ Link to comment

Wufkar
Guuuyyyyssssssssss I'm actually hungry!!! @nightlight knows how big a deal that is. Actually eating regularly is something I struggle with, mostly stemming from my first "successful" diet where I ate <1200 calories for a year. I got down to 132, but it was skinny fat and I have these habits of forgetting to eat now. Then I got a personal trainer who bumped me immediately to 2000 calories. I gained 30 lbs in about 2 months, though I gained a 70# strict over head press from that as well. Dirty bulk for the win. Legitimately I am going to start setting a timer to remind me to eat. The goal is to yes, be at a deficit but more to recomp than anything. I'm buying a lean mean grilling machine to toss chicken breast on so that I will always have it. Another thing I'm needing to learn how to juggle that's different from the last time I lost weight over time is that I actually have a social life now. I'm going to have to choose from time to time what works best for me, my stress levels and my overall goals. This isn't a short sprint, it's the long haul and it's a life change. In order to handle those things I'm going to do my best to avoid unplanned outings, and adjust my intake for the day accordingly. In the next couple days I'll work out a plan for lifting 3x a week on a push/pull modified split that doesn't consist of squats. Once I have it, you'll have it. 2 Quote Current Challenge: Wufkar Stops Making Excuses ------------------------------------------------------ Link to comment

Wufkar
.Today is the day I start getting in shape. No more excuses, no more fear about injury. Do my best to avoid injury through proper form and watch what I eat. I want to be strong, ready for whatever may come my way. My spirit is strong, time to bring the body up to snuff." -Wufkar Jan 27, 2013. That note was tucked in a file box I was looking through for tax documents. Young Wuf was having similar problems to Older Wuf. Certainly I'm happier now, the last three years have brought me a lot of introspection about myself and how I viewed the world but I was on to something. Maybe I should finally pay attention to me. November 2012 I weighed 175.6 with a bodyfat of 34%, Hips-Waist measurements of 41"- 34". December 2013? 138 and 26.29% and Bust-Waist-hips Measurements of 37"-29"-37". March 21, 2016 I weighed 172.2 with a bodyfat of 35.74% calculated by measurements. B-W-H 42"-33"-41.8" and a belly measurement of 39.17" Let's see if we can duplicate that BF% drop, shall we? 1 Quote Current Challenge: Wufkar Stops Making Excuses ------------------------------------------------------ Link to comment
