Zombie Lil dusts off and rises once again!

A few hours ago I had no energy and was totaly zomb'ed.

I was waffling so much sh*te that the viking accused me of going on an "elocution safari". 

 

Then I went for the afternoon pootle with the pack.....

We parked at Pooh Bridge and tracked a group of Does through the bomb craters of the forest

.... when I found them!

A full on rack of antlers that one of the bucks lost last year. 

Great condition and not gnawed on at all.

So now I'm smug smug smug :D ,  and not even minding that today has been such a fail day food wise and daytime sleeping wise.

What's better is that even though the buck himself has passed away now (his group got wiped out :( ) we do have a great photo of him with his antlers in velvet.

So back to DAY 1 of the challenge!

The day ended with 1.5 brains munched. 

It would have been 6 but shark week meant I dropped 4 1/2 due to sleeping for that long during the day.

I was going to do a fancy graphic for the Rick tracking section, but meh, brain dead right now. Well that and cba as smug smug smug. :D

Soooo: 

 

Rick wakes up.  I Woke up! Win so far :D 

 

Cafeteria zombie encounter  I did the first installment in NF yoga to kick Rick's bum in the cafeteria. Think this should be a 'good thing'. 

 

0.04km / 0.25miles – To Bicyclist zombie encounter Walked the girls in the morning, then kicked Ricks butt again in the bicyclist encounter, by chucking some large chunks of wood around and painting a shed. 

 

2.05km / 1.27m      -  By bicycle to ricks home.  1.17km / 0.72miles – By car to the police department I ended up walking just under 4 miles according to my dodgy xiao-mi, but I take at least 20% off due to dodginess, so I'm calling it 3

 

Total = 2.28 miles. Total 3 miles. I'm a comin!

 

Still got to work out scoring. stuff. Meh.

 

Day 2 of the challenge

Breakfast of nut flour made pancakes smothered in berries and fresh fruit

and lots of sugar...

Slept for 3 hours during the day, just couldn't stay away. 

Stuffed my face full of sugary stuff.

Literally. 

I melted some butter, stuck in sugar then topped up with dessicated coconut. 

I am a terrible person.

So today I'm getting 0 brains. Nada. Zip. Nil. 

Though tomorrow will be better! I know this as I'm going to spend the day being smug smug smug :D

Im creeped out by zombies but good job updating!

 

Habits > motivation so strong habits and posting regularly will help in those inevitable days when the motivation tank is empty :(

Day 4 I kicked ass! Though without Nic Cage or the costumes!

I ate well, didn't sleep at all during the day.

Papered part of my garden shed/shelter/beach hut thing. 

I managed to walk 4 miles, consume 8 brains and sign up for a gym again. :D 

It's only ten minutes cycle down the road and seems to be small, nice and quiet.

Though does mean I'll have to learn how to use free weights. 

Here's hoping it goes better than last time (my first time in a gym of trying stuff like deadlifts/jerks by myself) where two gentlemen came in after I started then pushed me aside with "do you mind, we're working out here?" 

Me, walked away meekly and had a little cry. Jerks. 

Nah yesterday, was an awesome day! Should award myself with a costume:D

Then today sucked. 

No brains today at all, as the dreaded ED beast caught up with me. 

My own fault, I over did things yesterday, just chuffed that I wasn't asleep all the day I burnt out and today have been wandering around in a zomb state. 

Also my fault that I didn't ensure that I had ED safe snacks in the place. 

Tired brain + extreme lack of energy + daytime sleeping + tail end of shark attack = Sugar craving. 

Most importantly = lack of brain to stop myself stuffing before it becomes too late.

Day 5 = not only 0 brains but ED reset at day 0

This is so rude, it's quite shocking. I say you learn how to use free weights and then work on out-lifting their rude asses. Gah, some people suck. 

 

Gratz on all the wins and I am sorry today sucked :( I hope tomorrow is better for you.

I hope if you encounter that kind of rudeness again, you speak to a staff member if you are too nervous to confront (I would totally be too nervous to confront).  That's just not acceptable behavior.

 

I hope today was a better day, full of nommable brains.  *hugs*

How's the weekend treating you? Eat any particularly tasty brains?

 

As an aside, I'm now sorely tempted to start watching The Walking Dead over from season 1. Man that finale last week is still killing me.

Brief holiday:

Sadly I didn't get to go to the beach. My unexpected short break from nerd fitness was needed. 

 

Day 6 - I stopped concentrating on anything. It just wasn't needed,

I wanted to relax, destress a little and get the handles back on the food thing. 

Overall it turned out a decent day, but 0 brains as I didn't focus 

 

Day 7 - Yesterday was a really great day, had my induction at the gym. 

Total meat head place. Massive tyres to flip outside and daft slogans like "Pain is just weakness leaving your body" Boo-ya! graffitied over the walls, but it actually seems like a nice quiet girly friendly gym during the day. 

Have to go back again though to chat with a trainer before I start working out I think.

All together I managed to eat 8 brains! Win :D

 

Now I know there's mini challenges going on, but I can't actually find them amongst all the messages, I think the last one was 50 squats and 50 lunges. Going to make this my main goal for today.

Well that and catch up on everyones posts.

I think I might be laughing too hard to work out, looking at that ... maybe they're counting on the laughter burning extra calories? But go you for continuing with the gym thing even after a vexing encounter!

Sounds like a cool gym - especially if you can time it for when the place is quiet. Mine has way too many treadmills and machines for my taste - but a nice big open floor that's free to use as long as they have no classes in session.

I'm quite glad there's not a huge amounts of machines :D

I always wondered how much time folks had on their hands to sit on one machine for so long without moving on and swapping back.

Spent half of gym time lurking.
