Pyrorazor
Going through a few of my past challenges, I've noticed that I tried to hard to do multiple tasks and when I got really stressed, i caved into laziness and just gave up. For this challenge, I decided to keep it simple and just upgrade some of the exercises I'm already doing, for example instead of running from my house to the end of the street (about .5 miles), I'm gonna run to the beach (about 2 miles). I'm still doing my normal routine, but with an extra kick. So here is what my challenge is as follows: Main Quest To be awesome at Parkour Diet Quest Eat at least one salad a day Fitness Run two miles every other day Bodyweight workout every other day LUL At least two hours of studying Clean out one part of room Get some drawing done. Grading haven't yet figured this out, but I'll probably update this later. Luckily, I got some friends to help me with accountability this challenge, so I'm excited to see how this goes I'll probably update on my daily battle log, and put a weekly summary on here to keep track. Hopefully, I'll actually finish this time. 1 Quote Assassin-in-Training Intro, Daily Battle Log, Current Challenge Twitter Link to comment
missvague
Good luck with everything, hope slowing it down helps with completing it all. I also have a salad challenge this year which is a bit different for me, hope yours is going ok so far! SunlitSapling
Great idea building off habits you've already been doing. Wishing you the best in this challenge! As someone who is also into drawing - what kind of things do you plan to practice on? 1 Quote Level 4 Assassin Hufflepuff HouseSunlit Embraces Earth and Sea - Current Challenge Link to comment

I'm trying to keep track of it in my daily log, but I think the hardest part so far is just waking up in the morning to go running. I really want to work on perspective drawing but I feel like if I get comfortable with free hand, I can practice my other skills. Pyrorazor
I forgot to do a weekly update, but better late than never! Week 1 Recap Diet Quest I have been eating a salad a say. I'm thankful my mom buys the mini salads so I don't have to physically make one everyday. Grade: A Fitness Quest 1: Been consistently running this week! It's such a pain to wake up early in the morning and my body is definitely letting me know how it feels, but I'm getting through it. 2: I technically did do a body weight work out every other day, but I cut the workout in half because I got tired. Grade: A/B- LUL 1. I never realized how distracted I become because finding two hours to study everyday is a lot harder than I thought. I barely made it this week, so I have to really adjust my schedule around and see if I can take a nap earlier, cause I'm usually tired by the time I make it home. 2: I started cleaning out my desk, but it's a struggle. 3: I have drawn a few pictures! I'll upload them once the challenge is over because I think one nice post about it will look better. Grade: A/A/A It's been a good week in experimenting with a new schedule, Definitely need to do some switching around with my schedule and find ways to not be so distracted while trying to study. It always comes down to scheduling and man does that suck. Oh wells, I still have 3 weeks left. 1 Quote Assassin-in-Training Intro, Daily Battle Log, Current Challenge Twitter Link to comment

Pyrorazor
Week 2 Update!!! Diet Quest: Ate a salad every other day because I was starting to run out and had to spread it throughout the week. Grade: B (but it half wasn't my fault xD) Fitness Quest 1. Ugh running was incredibly difficult this week, I had to keep switching the days I was going to run and I ended up only running maybe two days. It was a struggle. 2. No bodyweight workout, but I did do 3 sets of wall sits and 3 sets of planks on the days I wasn't running so I;m gonna give myself some points there. Grade: C/B LUL 1. Oh I totally failed on studying, especially since the new Destiny update was launched on April 12 and I couldn't stop playing D: I maybe got 8 hours in of studying total this week. I did do my homework, but sadly that wasn't part of my challenge 2.Started going through my clothes, but not finished yet, thinking about going through my stuffed animals...but I don't want to give them away 3. Didn't get to finish any drawings. I'm working on a couple right now, but it's a little difficult when I have a lot of projects to do and homework to finish. Grade: D/B/C Post-week thoughts: My biggest struggle with running is just waking up early. It's difficult, especially someone who is trying to change their sleep schedule. My body is all off but I'm working through it. My other struggles include focusing on studying in my room because there are a ton of distractions. Normally, I study a lot better with someone else, but none of my friends have the same schedule as me, so it's difficult to coordinate. I'm not very good with studying alone. Another thing about this week was how terrible I am with my time management. I usually try to set up a schedule, but it always falls apart and I end up doing things different. Just something I need to work on I suppose. 1 Quote Assassin-in-Training Intro, Daily Battle Log, Current Challenge Twitter Link to comment
Red1263
In terms of limiting your distractions, try studying somewhere where the distractions are limited, i.e. the library or some room with the littlest things possible Sent from my SM-G925T using Tapatalk Quote Level 25 Final Fantasy Rebel My Epic Quest | My Journey | Currently on the Trial of Orthos Str: 60 | Dex: 23 | Sta: 66 | Con: 28 | Wis: 55 | Cha: 14 Goals for 2021: Spoiler Build my brother a Destiny 2 Lamp Learn how to do a Handstand Play 1 song on the acoustic guitar Clean up the Christmas Decorations and finish setting up my apartment (hang things up, plus some other few things that need to be organized) Re-introduce Pull-ups into my routine Build a shelving unit next to my Desk "No matter what, if you can hold your head up high, you've done the right thing." Pyrorazor
Week 3 Update Diet Quest Okay technically, I did eat a salad every day. I did however also ate a ton of unhealthy food because that’s all I could find when it came to my meals for the day. I know next challenge, I’m going to have to be more specific because diet is a big factor when getting healthy. Grade: A (but is it really an A?) Fitness Quest 1. I ran every other day! Granted I wanted to throw up a few times because I was drinking the night before, but I’ve learned my lesson so it got better towards the week’s end. 2. Oh man I failed on this so hard. Mostly because I was still sore from the previous day’s run but I was also lazy and maybe did half a workout so I’ll give myself points for attempting to do it. Grade: A/D LUL 1. I did better this week at studying. Not much better, but definitely better than last week. The next week is finals so I better get an A on studying. It’s still difficult finding a place that has no distractions because my school cut library hours for renovations and everywhere else was always loud. Eh I’ll take my chances with my room again. 2. I vacuumed my floor and re-organized my bookcase. I gave away a ton of books so I’m calling that a success. I’ll probably go through my clothes again because I got some new shirts and my drawers are getting full. 3. Still didn’t finish my other drawings I started, but I did start new ones. I’ll probably finish them up next challenge because with finals on the horizon, I’m gonna need all the time I have to study. Grade: C/A/D Post week thoughts: Still struggling with waking up early to run, but this week was weird because I don’t think my hydrating myself enough. Or maybe just not enough sleep. I’m not sure because I felt extremely nauseous and if it weren’t for the fact that I need money, I would have called off of work. I drink water every time I finish running, but throughout the rest of the day, I can’t seem to operate correctly. Eh I’ll see how the rest of next week goes. 1 Quote Assassin-in-Training Intro, Daily Battle Log, Current Challenge Twitter Link to comment
Red1263
In terms of your waking up early, it maybe a bit of both, not hydrating yourself and not getting enough sleep. Pyrorazor
Final Week Update/ Challenge Wrap Up Diet Quest My family went shopping this week and I got to pick out a bunch of stuff that I can cook myself, so I ate an awesome salad every day and ate a lot better than last week. Granted, I did eat out when I went to work instead of bringing home lunch, but to be fair, those days were long days that I didn’t have the chance to stop by my house. Grade: A Fitness Quest 1. Completed the running like a boss! I hurt my ankle earlier in the week so it took me a little longer than usual to complete my route. I did drink again but it wasn’t excessive so it didn’t completely hinder my run. 2. I wouldn’t call it a complete workout, but I did more bodyweight exercises than I did last week. I think the workout called for 4 sets and I did about 2.5 sets because I was exhausted by the end of the day. Grade: A/B LUL 1. I pretty much studied as much as I did last week, but my finals are actually next week Monday so I have another week to study for. I “hid” my PS4 in my room so I’ll be able to study without the biggest distraction. I also might be heading over to my friend’s place to study there since she also has finals. Here’s to hoping it works out! 2. Didn’t get a chance to clean my room, but I went through some papers and cleaned my AC so I’ll give myself some points for that because my room is pretty much the way I want it to be. 3. Didn’t draw at all this week because I was slammed with work and school so that had to be put off to the side. Grade: B/B/F (but I was studying so….maybe I don’t have to count this week?) Final thoughts: Definitely still need to drink more water because although I wasn’t as dizzy as last week, it was still hard to concentrate when my body is just screaming at me to slow down and take a nap or something. I might change my route because my current one has some issues and it might be better if I just run down another street. I’ll update about this later. It’s a nice street to run on though I’m thinking of adding another diet goal to my quest. Nothing hard but I’ll be experimenting with it this week so I’ll have an idea of how my challenge is going to go. I’m nervous for my finals but I hope my brain decides to concentrate and retain the information I give it xD Challenge Wrap Up! Diet Quest Week 1: A Week 2: B Week 3: A Week 4: A Final Grade: A- I feel pretty proud of myself because usually in the final week, salad tastes gross but because I got to make my own in the last week, it saved my taste buds. Things to work on: Next quest, I need to add in a water goal because my water intake wasn’t enough to keep up with my running workout. I might also have to add like a one home cooked meal because eating out is fun, but it’s going against my plan to lose weight. Also less alcohol…(but my body can handle hangovers so well! And if I don’t get my drinking out now, I won’t be able to do that when I’m older). Fitness Quest Running/Bodyweight workout Week 1: A/B- Week 2: C/B Week 3: A/D Week 4: A/B Final Grade: B/C I did very well getting into a running routine. There were days where I didn’t want to wake up and just sleep in, but I went running anyway. Also I was happy that I was able to make up my missed days and not feel terrible about it. Things to work on: I need to work on my bodyweight exercises, but I know once summer hits and I finally clean my backyard, I’ll have room to do more things and not feel so trapped back there. Oh! I need to buy new clothes because I didn’t know using specific clothes could help out, like wearing shorts that I don’t need to pull up every ten steps. LUL Studying/cleaning room/drawing Week 1: A/A/A Week 2: D/B/C Week 3: C/A/D Week 4: B/B/F Final Grade: C+/B+/C I did really well my first week and kind of dwindled from there, but factoring the amount of work I had to do this past month, I did better than I expected. The studying could have gone better, but I’m happy I was able to put off my drawings for more important things. Next challenge is during summer so I’ll have more time to work on that. I may have been a little too hard on myself with the room cleaning because I only needed to clean a small part. I still did well though. Things I need to work on: I need to work on my study time. I’ll need to schedule study time instead of just winging it but list of things I need to do is a little overwhelming, so I’ll come back to it later. I’m gonna need to buy another calculator because mine decided to break halfway through the semester, so I’ve been bumming my friend’s calculator for now. Art wise, I’m going to start doing space painting again and throw some recreational drawing when I find time. I feel a lot better when I paint so in terms of stress reliving, I’ll stick with that. Post Challenge Thoughts: I did pretty great for my comeback challenge. There were some bumps in the road but I overcame them and know pretty much how I’m going to set up my next challenge. Accountability buddies are the best thing in the world and I don’t think I would have gotten through the challenge without them So shout out to those guys! I’m pretty stoked to keep my momentum going. It’s all uphill from here! 1 Quote Assassin-in-Training Intro, Daily Battle Log, Current Challenge Twitter Link to comment
