Blaidd
Hi Rebels, I think we could do a handful of mini challenges as an aside to our own challenges. Remember that you don't have to do them, and you certainly don't have to do them in order either. If you've joined us for the mini's and a few have already been done, then go ahead and do them anyway No one is going to stop you. Mini #1: It's so clean! Blaidd
Mini #1: It's so clean! This mini has two parts - a not so physical one and a physical one. You can do one of them or you can do both. 1. Clean up your space The challenge here is to look at your current challenges, and pick one of them then clean up the space you'll be doing this challenge in. In order to consider this mini complete, you will need to have done at least 15 minutes of work. Examples: * Are you trying to take lunch to school everyday? A good idea would be to clean a small section in your fridge/pantry where you can store easy to grab meals (salads that are ready), cheese packs, fruit packs, decanted dressings etc. to pop into your lunch bag. * Are you trying to walk for 20 minutes everyday? Why not make a small space where your sneakers/socks/earphones will live for ease of convenience or pick up (not so nasty) litter around the areas that you are walking 2. Be a clean jerk The challenge here is to complete just one clean jerk at a weight that you're comfortable with (using barbell, dumbells, homemade equipment). https://www.google.co.za/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=2&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwiKub3Q6ojMAhWBXBQKHcSxCp8QtwIIITAB&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DLTZC4bp0Agw&usg=AFQjCNFRR0h_d7GJ8fjsCCtmpUowENSpCA&sig2=VHqDWqi7elgHISJUbEDO8Q 3 Quote Half Faerie (Sidhe) Scout | Black Belt Kitchen Ninja "A positive attitude will not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort" - Herm Albright You're welcome to skype me (audriwolf) too but let me know who you are My challenge Link to comment
fleaball
Well-timed. I'll be doing #1. My school stuff is everywhere which makes actually working on it, or having space to work at, such a pain in the butt.
Dawnwings
I'll clean my room and desk to make writing space. That should keep me occupied for a bit. And I can get some books on the shelves again! Sent from my GT-I9195T using Tapatalk 1 Quote Link to comment
Butternut
#1 the top of my dresser. It's where I put my library books, journal, clothes, junk I find on the floor, etc. I want to clean it off and keep it clean for my library books and journal and a picture to inspire me. I read somewhere that said use a picture of you doing something you completely love doing. I'm going to feel cheesy putting A picture of myself on my dresser but I have a picture with me and my number from a bike race I finished (my 11 year old took it). Then again I have a picture playing with my kids in the yard. Still feeling cheesy putting my own picture up so I'm not sure if I'll get to that... 2 Quote "One should eat to live, not live to eat." -Molaire- "People always forget their hangover" -My dear ol' dad "People are born to live, while some are born to evolve." Gaelle
#1 clean up my drawing table. I tend to pile things up -papers, books, boxes of art material, etc. I'll work on cleaning up the space and organize what I need handy so as to make it easier to sit and draw. FlyingJen
Adding this to my to-do list for Monday! I've been doing my exercises in my home office but I'm moving it to the basement. I've been doing bodyweight but am going to start doing dumbbells and those live in the basement. Need to organize some stuff down there first! Quote Link to comment
fleaball
Woo. Cleaned off my desk and dresser, put clothes either in the laundry or the closet, and collected all my school junk from the living room. Still have a pile of papers to go through and find a home for, but I'm enjoying sitting at my desk and actually getting stuff done.

We had a winter storm come through yesterday Saturday and the electricity went out (no worries, I have gas heater), so no internet or tv to distract me. I got right to work cleaning out my studio space and organizing my table and supplies. It's looking awesome! In fact, I was so inspired that even though 2 hours later the lights came back on, I continued to clean and even sat down to draw the rest of the afternoon. Me thinks this is worth +1 WIS points! 3 Quote - Level 1 - Water-bending Elf - Aspiring Druid Adventurer - STR 1/ DEX 3/ STA 1/ CON 1/ WIS 4/ CHA 1 Spoiler NFA4 - EQ1 - My Character - My Nerd Thing: A Walk Around The World Current: #3QiGong & Back to Basics; #3Mini(Assassins); #3Mini(Adventurers) Previous 2016: PVP:Walk of Life(Mar-Apr16) - #1(Apr/Rebel) - #2(May/Druid) - "We're all stories in the end. Zahirah
#1 Cleaned my apartment this weekend. Not directly related to not eating sugar or going to the gym, but the reality is the less cluttered and dirty my space is overall, the less anxiety I have. Which leaves a lot more room for focusing on my goals. 4 Quote Becoming an Amazon Link to comment
Butternut
Cleaned off my dresser, and my husband now is using it for a station of his stuff as well. So this weekend I was able to clear out my front porch, I found extra chairs and an end table in my basement (suprisingly they match in a weird way) and my journal is stationed there. I curled up in a blanket yesterday and wrote in the morning with my coffee, it was super nice. 2 Quote "One should eat to live, not live to eat." -Molaire- "People always forget their hangover" -My dear ol' dad "People are born to live, while some are born to evolve."
