Better late than never!

Well, I'm only eight days late to the party, but better late than never!

This is my first ever challenge on this site, and I'm excited to get started. I've got a pretty good routine going diet/fitness wise, so I really feel like those goals are absolutely manageable. My main focus in the following weeks has to be on my bachelor's thesis. The deadline is May 18, and I've been the queen of procrastination so far. Time to change that!

So, goals:

Diet:

Eat 5 fruits/vegetables a day.
Prepare and bring a healthy lunch to school every day, instead of buying something in the cafeteria.

Fitness:

Run 10km/week.

Body weight training 3x/week.

Stretch them hip flexors after workouts.

Life:

Write a minimum of 250 words on my bachelor every day.

Smile at people I cross paths with. :)

Welcome to the Rebellion!!!

I love your goals, I should adopt your "smile" goal, almost everyone I meet insist on telling "don't be so grumpy" when that's just my normal look <g>.

Anyways, welcome to the forums and if there has been one thing I've learned in my almost 2 years here is that you get out of it what you give. So I suggest that you seek out a couple others here on the forums and follow/support them, having someone in your corner to support you when you're struggling DOES make all the difference!

Thank you so much! I'm excited to be here!

Smiling is awesome! We never know what the people we cross paths with are dealing with in their lives, but if a smile in their direction can cheer them up a bit and make them feel seen and included, then we should all smile more at each other. :)

WEDNESDAY! We call it "little Saturday" in Norway, and on little Saturday you're allowed to eat a treat, so I did. I kept it healthy though! Anyway, my week has been pretty good so far. Monday was leg day, and I went for a 5k run yesterday. I was supposed to do arms+abs today, but I've been a bit under the weather, so I'm doing it tomorrow instead. No worries! I'm gonna do my stretches before I go to bed anyway.

My diet goals are going well too, I've been eating 5 fruits/vegetables every day, and I brought lunch to school today (the only day with lectures, hehe). I haven't written a single word on my bachelor, but I've got a few hours left, so I'm gonna get those 250 words down before bed!

Man, this accountability thing is really working out for me. I'm actually doing the things I'm supposed to be doing!

Man, this week has been super busy, and I'm sort of glad it's over, but my challenge is going very well! I've completed all my workouts/runs and I've gotten lots of writing done on my thesis. The hardest thing has actually been to get those five fruits/vegetables into my diet, but I manage by eating one with every meal, so it's all good.

I'm really looking forward a new week! Whoop! :D
